Front Grille, Kidney Grill Replacement for BMW 2012-2017 6 Series F06 F12 F13 (ABS, Gloss Black)

Great product, looks beautiful on my 6. Incredibly easy to install, just pops right in. My disclaimer for anyone who is doing this, it is much harder than it looks to remove the original grilles. I’m very handy around the house but don’t do work on my cars. The screws were easy to get out but getting your hand in that tiny space if you have big hands like me and finding where and how to get the clips pushed, is not the easiest thing. It’ll take some time but be patient and don’t rush or you’ll break the tabs on the bumper.

They look great and fit perfectly... just snapped right in. Gaps look great. Very happy with them. However, getting the original kidney grills out is painful - figuratively and literally. Do your YouTube research before getting started. The job may require a blood sacrifice from your knuckles. If you know a small-handed person with very strong fingers - outsource the job to them. Needed to replace the grille on the one we purchased a month ago, looks way better now! The old kidney grilles were missing pieces, o don’t know how the previous owner managed that.

It fits perfectly and looks really nice. But it took some doing since I had to squeeze my hand/arm behind the bumper to work in tight spaces. There was no easier way to do it besides removing the bumper, and I refused to do that.

It was a struggle to get the stock silver grills out of my 650i. Not too bad to put these in though. No issues, can tell they aren’t official BMW part. No cracking or peeling. If I ordered black grills from bmw it would be close to $500. This is a great deal.

These replacement black M style grills look and fit perfect. The original chrome ones are a bit challenging to remove, more involved on the 650 than on the 550 (search for it on youtube to see how its done), but once removed the new ones snap right in place. If you like the blacked out look these are a great option.
