Very good coffee, if you like it..
An opinion on whether this is a nice coffee is highly subjective. However, in my opinion, it's one of the best tasting decaffeinated coffees available at a reasonable price point. I use a Delonghi Dedica espresso machine, 18g of beans and freshly grind using a Sage Dose Control Pro (grind setting 10). I drink either as an espresso or long black. It produces a decent rich and dark crema and quite full mouth feel with notes of cacao. I also drink Illy, Lavazza, Taylors, and have also tried independents, chains and supermarket own. I keep coming back to this as a regular cup and find it the most palatable. It's also incredibly good value compared to the aforementioned brands, which is a bonus.Highly recommended and definitely worth a taste if you're looking for a nice decaf to drink regularly.

Good value need more strength
Bought this as have moved from nespresso to a beam to cup machine so it’s all trial and errorLove my coffees across the day so decaf is needed.. this has a great taste but find need a double shot in milky coffees to get the taste .. a stronger bean in this brand would be good … so whilst a good price in comparison to competitors for me I’m using double each drink for that authentic taste you can get with decade .. overall a nice drink and food of your not wanting a strong taste

My now favourite de-caff
As always, arrived well packaged and quickly. I've been buying various brands of de-caff beans over the years, from lower to more expensive brands, but having stumbled across these Amazon Italian beans I must say these are my new go-to de-caff beans. Excellent flavour, very well priced. As with all de-caff beans, does lack the punch of standard caffeinated beans but when you need to limit your caffeine intake these are a great alternative. As with anything like this you have to try them as they will not be to everyone's taste because of personal preference. All I can say is a recommend them as an excellent product.

A pleasant light roast
I wanted to try something lighter since I drink a few cups a day. This brand is gentle on the stomach, not dry on the mouth and is better for me.A light roast certainly makes the coffee taste lighter and probably the same strength as say two spoons of instant, but without the acidity.I do wish these coffee companies used resealable bags. You would be wise to ensure that you have an air tight container to keep the rest of the beans.Other than that, if you want a cheap but lighter decaffeinated coffee beans then buy this as most beans are medium/dark roast making the coffee taste harsher needing sugar/milk/sweetener.Pairs very well with sugar or a syrup or combination of syrup, milks etcRemember:comes in 2 bagsMust have container to put in as bag not resealable

Average taste, good value, a solid 3/5
I very recently discovered at 30 my body can no longer tolerate 5 cups of machine coffee a day. My heart was giving me palpitations and since swapping to decaf, these have gone away. Hence my buying this product.I have and always will be an avid Starbucks fan, favourite being the espresso or house blend beans. In comparison to those, these beans are a bit weak, not as flavoursome and to be honest, you can tell you’re drinking decaf. However! Once you’ve had them in your life for a day or two, and gotten away from caffeinated coffee, you forget they’re decaf and actually, these become a very drinkable blend in a long white Americano. Smooth all the way through with a slight twang in the finish, these are slightly nutty tasting with a tiny hint of citrus right at the end.I have tried Dek by Lavazza, and would say it is superior to this and has a strong aroma, flavour and better crema. However, my coffee machine had serious issues grinding the beans in Dek, leading to very slow pouring (at times just a dribble). Eventually by playing with the grind settings I got it to flow reasonably, but not like normal.TLDR; average beans once you’ve got through a few cups, but very reasonably priced. Will try other brands for comparison but would buy again.

Reasonably priced large packs. Roast is quite bitter
One of the cruellest blows of ageing seems to be that I can no longer tolerate caffeine in the quantities I used to - long gone are my undergraduate days of finishing an essay overnight, fuelled by multiple cafetière-fulls of strong, dark roast coffee. These days, I become shaky after more than a single cup of proper coffee, and a good decaffeinated bean is hard to find. These Happy Belly beans are a darker, bitterer, and less well rounded roast than my favourite Illy beans, but they are a good bit less expensive. The flavour of the coffee from these isn't bad, and is definitely improved by filtering our hard water - unfiltered, this really ramps up the bitterness - but there's a sort of bitter, dark after dinner quality to the roast, although the flavour intensity isn't strong. I will probably buy these again, but they're not my favourite coffee, and certainly not a bean I'd use for my preferred black, unsweetened coffee.

Great for lattes and good for espresso
Great for lattes and good for espresso and it costs half as much as others. Is it going to be the best coffee ever? Probably not, but for everyday it's great. Price is key though. I paid £10 for a kilo.

Ottimo decaffeinato: una scelta leggera ma con carattere! ☕
