BubCap Home Button Cover (Regular) 4-Pack

Our tech-obsessed toddler could not leave the home button alone to save his life. He would cry every time when using apps on our phones or iPod touch. These simple little stickers do the trick!!!He could not push through the bub cap and gave up on the home button, which gave him a chance to learn to focus on the apps. Now he has fun on the phone/itouch!Eventually, (after a couple of months) he has learned to push hard through the sticker, so we are ordering the next strength up (Ultra). It has still helped A TON and at such a low cost I would buy them again and again.I do use them over a thin disposable screen protector with no problem.

I bought these to deter my 18 month old son from constantly changing apps on our iPad and iPhones. The idea behind the product is great, but there is a potential downfall with it. If your kid has used an iDevice before the addition of the BubCap, it most likely won't work for very long.Within a few minutes of having this on, our son first figured out that if he mashed hard enough with both his thumbs, the home button could be pressed. Then he realized, "Hey, this is a sticker." And proceeded to rip it off.IMO, you are much better off with jailbreaking your idevice and installing IncarcerApp from the Cydia App Store. That is the 100% surefire way that your kid won't get out of what you want them to be in.

We bought this so that our 20 month old could use the iPad without seeing the home button which was totally irresistable to her (thus closing out of whatever she was doing and eliciting tears and frustration). This worked really well for about a month, at which point she realized it was a really fun sticker and was obsessed with peeling it off (she peeled it off pretty easily after a few minutes of concentration). Oh well. We'll keep the other 3 caps handy for our next plane trip.

We use this on a phone that we let our young children play with - it's truly incredible how something so small can prevent home button wear-out and application switching that used to happen all the time with our kids. It's an inexpensive solution to a potentially expensive (phone replacement) problem.

What a terrific product! I was looking for something to stop my infant son from pressing the home button on my iPhone and this is perfect. The BubCap should be sold in every Apple store and as an option suggested accessory for anyone buying an iPhone and iPad who has an infant and toddler!
