It's nice to look at and a pleasure to use
The mechanism is very smooth with great corner cutting. It's lightweight but it feels very solid. Since the cube faces are transparent you see combinations of colors, and this sometimes makes it a little tricky to tell which color you're looking at, e.g., is that green or is that yellow plus blue? On the other hand, the variety of colors really makes this a pretty object. Use a good bright light and with a little practice you'll be able to ID the colors quickly.One warning: One of the pictures for this item on Amazon shows a gray mesh bag. My cube did not come with a bag. It also didn't come with a stand. Just a cube in a box. Fortunately, it's a visually appealing cube with a great mechanism inside.

A cool-looking disappointment
The Good:The cube is pretty fast, corner cuts well, and looks unique.The Bad:The cube I received had some quality control issues. The Yellow/Green side piece was not put together properly, so it jutted out and made the cube difficult to turn smoothly. I removed it in order to see if I could fix the issue. 20 minutes later, I managed to get it back together (two of the internal pins were bent, and it took some effort and a pair of tweezers to bend them into place without snapping them).The cube seems unnaturally light and more fragile than your typical cube puzzle. The cube has popped twice, both times the side piece caused the adjoining corner pieces to fall apart.If you want a good, fast cube, perhaps the more standard stickered or stickerless versions would be more to your liking. I can't recommend this puzzle except for ornamental value.
