Good equipment storage
Fit perfect in dug out for equipment. Girls also end up sitting on it so it is sturdy.

Nice
This is a nice storage bin. High quality. A bit pricey but money well spent.

Rugged and strong. Buy Greenlee for the many size options.
The chest is great. It is waterproof and has plenty of capacity even for a small compressor and a chop saw.Buyer beware: ordering from this distributor will be two weeks turn around on shipping-- and check the chest for damage before signing for the delivery. Freighting companies pay no attention to large loads on top of boxed cargo. My tool chest came damaged from shipping (lid is compressed at one corner and enamel is heavily scratched). It functions fine, but looks two years old out of the box. I like my tools to be clean and new looking for a little while. The green enamel does chip off and rust will creep under. That issue goes for all of these job-boxes, though. Dimensions given are for the volume capacity. The feet on this thing make it four inches taller than expected, which wasn't much of a problem for me.Other brands are less expensive at your brick and mortar home centers, you can't beat the selection of sizes Greenlee provides. I found that Greenlee fell in the middle, price-wise with competitors.

Solid
I am very impressed with the quality of this American made product. The little nooks for the locks are tucked away and would be very difficult to access with bolt-cutters. I got mine and a great price with Prime shipping, which I recommend. The delivery folks called while they were on their way and helped unload it and place it. Great for keeping dangerous tools away from little hands in the home as well as the worksite.

Not a typical GreenLee Product
If you are expecting the high quality standard of a Greenlee product you may be very disappointed in this unit, as I am! Locking system is poorly designed and very cumbersome. The door/lid does not utilize a hydraulic cylinder system. The door/lid does have the standard "lock-in-place" latches once raised. However, they are on both sides making it difficult to close with 1 person. To that point as well, do not inadvertently attempt to use too much force to close the door/lid, as the "welded" brackets for the hinge mechanism will bend, with minimal effort. The unit that I received, the bracket was welded on the bottom only. Once this happens, the door/lid no longer aligns properly and closing it becomes a chore as things no longer line up.From my position, I wished I'd have waited for the Ridgid toolbox that Home Depot normally carries to have been re-stocked. I'd have been money and quality ahead.

Paying for the name
Similar gang boxes sell for almost half. You pay fir the greenlee name but you don't even get a piston for easy opening and smooth close

MUCH better than a 48x24x24
MUCH better than a 48x24x24. The added 6" up and back makes world's of difference. I personally like the way greenlee boxes lock. Let's face it, if someone is going to steal your tools, they're going to do it regardless. Greenlee box designs just make it that much more difficult to get to the locks. And much more noticeable by a passerby. All around I recommend this box in particular for anyone who needs a gang box.
