Columbia Men's Metal Hard Case RFID Credit Card Holder Wallet

I purchased this 9 months ago & within 2-3 months the clasp started to not hold together. Not a huge deal, I just dealt with it. Well, not the little dividers inside are starting to tear so I just went to order another one because for the most part I've enjoyed it & it only cost $9.50. Well, now they're $19.99. Barely worth $9.50 & definitely not worth $19.99. Just ordered the same thing (without Columbia on the side of it) for $12.99.

Not sure if this actually blocks RFID, but I really didn't need it for that. Just to store my smartcards in. I gave this a lower review, due more to whoever handled the product. It's got dents and scratches. A couple of the scratches are deep enough that the silver of the aluminium sticks out. It has a sticker on it to seal it, so maybe it didn't make it properly through Columbia quality control, if they have quality control.None of the visual defects stops it from functioning and I don't care about that either, why I'm not bothering to return it. If others care, just a heads up. Maybe suggest finding it in a brick and mortar store, so you can view it before purchase.

I had high hopes for this wallet/case. My old one a different brand, died after many years use. this arrived with a dent in the top side and after using it the first day in my pocket the thing keeps coming open by itself. Not good. Returned.

Does not hold as many cards as advertised, will not close with the amount of cards it SAID it would hold.

Product is as advertised....Durable wallet. Wallet has multiple slots for credit cards (each will hold more than one card; however, there is no place to hold paper money. Money will need to be folded multiple times to fit and will also reduce the amount of space for cards. Hindsight, would have picked a different hard shell wallet, taking paper money into consideration.

This is my second one I've owned, first one lasted thru a lot, but finally had to replace. These are great. I've had other brands but they aren't if the quality like the Columbia ones.

After a week I like this hard case very much. Okay it does not hold as much as I had hoped for but is very comfortable and that is what I was most worried about. I`ve been told that the clasp is the weak point but we will see. I wish it had room for 1 maybe 2 more slots and it would be perfect.It is a tight fit for some ID cards that I must carry but credit cards are an easy fit. I would go 4 out of 5 stars easily.

Wallet is good and I like that it is rfid but I wish I could fit in more cards, I could only fit 7 anymore than that I can't close it anymore. Also the closing mechanism seems flimsy.

He pasado por varias carteras minimales y varias carteras de mayor tamaño, está sin duda es la más práctica si necesitas algo que no ocupe demasiado espacio (aunque si es un poco gruesa) pero no sea tan pequeña que temas perderla, como me ha pasado con algunas demasiado minimales. Su construcción es muy solida, el clip de cerrado se ve de buena calidad (ya veremos que dice el tiempo) y la organización es muy básica pero no veo la necesidad de nada más complejo por lo que te cobren 10 veces más. Para su función me parece un excelente producto, he visto este tipo de cartera en versiones de mucho menor calidad y precio pero se sienten endebles y de pésimos materiales . Esta cartera al contrario, y si bien no es la cartera más exquisita del mercado, se siente bastante buena y espero que mis primeras impresiones sean respaldadas por el tiempo. La recomiendo mucho.

With CoVid-19 my leather wallet was taking a beating from wiping it down all the time.I find that the hard shell is easy to clean, there's enough room for most of my cards and a few bills, but really, I've only used cash once since the middle of March to the middle of May.It's solid, RFID protected and easy to clean.Later I may go with a Ridge Wallet, I like the form factor, but for now I am pleased with this one.

So far so good. I ordered this for my husband, he loves this style of card holder and has gone through three of a different brand where the snap closure had broken in each of them. The snap on the Columbia wallet is a different design, so hopefully it stands up to use. It can be opened single handed, he likes that a lot. It falls open nicely displaying the contents inside.

I really liked mine so I ordered a pink one for my mother and now she also has that security of not having her credit cards cloned or stolen via RFID chip.
