The Mid-Range Quick Knob (QK02) allows quick gross adjustments into the target with a push of a button! The Knob has a spring loaded button that when depressed allows the operator to slide the knob up or down on the Actuator Rod quickly into the desired sight picture. When the button is released, the fine threads are re-engaged and the operator can make the final adjustments by rotating the Knob. The Quick Knob Mid-Range is the standard knob on BT05 and BT13.

Monopods make shooting even more fun.........
Bought this for my Sig 716 with PRM. What a hoot.......how does it help, let me count the ways.....First with a bipod, the third leg can be used to shoot or as the neatest handhhold ever......Eqaully important, when you go empty or stop, you just plop it down and, the gun remains pointed down range, not gangling all over, falling on the ground/floor or pointing half at a ceiling or the sun. Last, there are always some kind of Failure to "something happen on these AR's.......with this little goodie you just sit it down, you've got a level gun that's not giving you gas pains while you try to hold it and, pull that CH or what ever........that right there makes it worth the money. Safety, comfort and making problems much easier to work thru. It's well built. If could have one more thing, I ask for a QD level, so I could easily shift it from gun to gun.......don't know about others, but, when I go to the range, I usually take two to three pieces with me. This think makes for good shooting, almost as good as my Caldwell full control lead sled.......but, not quit, but, you don't have to haul that lead around either. Because of the above I just ordered a PRS for one of my 300 blks, another bipod and, yup......another monopod!

Nice product, way overpriced
One of the only mono pods on the market. Built very well, all steel construction with some nice features, such as a quick height adjust and the ability to fold. It is a simple product, a threaded rod attached to a 1913 rail with a large nut on the bottom you thread up or down to adjust height. I'm over simplifying a bit here, but my point is $100 is way overpriced. $30 or $40 would be more appropriate. I would recommend finding a different solution before I'd spend $100.

Solid, near-perfect monopod
I have a very heavy .308 AR10 setup, complete with 26" barrel and a Magpul PRS stock. While the rifle was accurate when I did my part, holding the stock exactly where I needed it was very difficult, even using a rear bag or similar setup. I purchased the mid-range PRM model and installed it in seconds on the Magpul PRS.With the press of a button the monopod flips into place, and you can quickly get on target with the monopod by pressing another button and sliding the whole unit up or down until you're basically on target. Then simply twist the monopod with your left hand and your crosshairs will slide up just millimeters at a time until you are exactly where you want to be, and it's a rock-steady hold, no worrying about a bag shifting. This monopod does not flex when it is locked into place. After I take a shot I'm usually off a bit again because the recoil moves the rifle, but not by much. A quick turn of the monopod base and I'm right back on target. I love the solid, smooth feel of this monopod with it's knurled grip and the flat black finish matches AR-style rifles perfectly. My only complaint is that every now and then when you push the button that allows the monopod to deploy or collapse, the button will not go in and you have to wiggle the monopod slightly, then it will go. I suspect this is due to very tight machining and might resolve itself over a bit of use. When you don't need the monopod, simply fold it up out of the way or remove it altogether. This is a solid, well-made piece of equipment and I'm completely happy with my purchase. I expect this will serve a very long time on the stock of my rifle.

Glad I double checked on which size to buy
Just as I expected after doing the research. Glad I double checked on which size to buy, my first choice would have been too short. This one is perfect. Great quality, looks like it will last for a very long time.

Broke in Half
I am not an unfair person, so I will not indict the seller, nor even the manufacturer for this...but, the part broke in half after only (1) week it broke in half at the bolt. I hadn't even had time to take it to the range, and there was no real stress on the handle, other than my holding it with one hand, while I held the rifle with the other...what it is designed to do. Prior to breaking, I was quite happy with this item. It did precisely what I needed it to do, right up to the point where it broke. Maybe just the bolt was defective, but that bolt is what holds it together. If I knew this defect was cured, I would definitely buy it again, and I would use the same vendor to supply it. Thanks, James

This PRM makes shooting at distance with a heavier gun very easy. I have it mounted to the bottom of my PSR stock and it fits very well. The button release makes taking to full length very easy. You can also spin the monopod down to a desired height and lock it to a zeroed level with the flat plate, this feature also keeps it possible to go to the full length and return to the minimum desired length stop.

Excellent quality precision mechanical action, worth the price (not cheap)
Excellent customer support. Fits Ruger Precision after removing the rubber cover which the support told me about. Built like a tank and ready to put to action. Also precision adjustment with excellent machining which Chinese can't do. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
