Bailey Drain Rod Universal Rotating Handle

brilliant idea, but for a bent piece of metal with a thread and a plastic handle, rather expensive.

This works well enough. The thread wasn't properly finished when it arrived so wouldn't screw into the rods. I had to get a file out and file off the deformed bit. It works well enough to turn the drain rods, allowing a brush on the end to be fairly effective. It was pretty easy to turn when there were only a half dozen rods on the end. By the time I had 10 metres on there and it had gone around a couple of bends in the 4" sewer pipe it was hard to turn and I was feeling like a longer handle would have been useful. Having said that, the drain rods might have snapped with that much leverage. A simple tool of not particularly good production quality but decent enough for the price and did the job.

So you've bought the rods with the screw attachment but you just can't get enough rotation to clear the roots in your mum's waist pipe.This bit of bent metal does the trick.Not cheap for what it is but cheaper than the professional drain guys

Good quality product.Easy to use, I don't know why Bailly haven't thought of this handle sooner.No complaints about the product but seems a bit pricey for what it is.

All the Bailey products are extremely good, they do what they say they are capable of, so what more is there to say - highly recommended as they are a reasonable price, are flexible enough to get into tight spaces (my manhole is chest high in my garage so the rods have to go down and then turn 90 degrees into the drain for rodding - no problems at all.

Good attachment and just what was required to help with the pig tail attachment. Cleared the leaf and mud from a soak away in no time.
