LCE uses all 304 1 1/2" Stainless steel tubing, 16 gauge .065 wall, the collector is made in house with 409 Stainless steel. We are utilizing a huge 1/2" thick steel header to head flange and 3/8" collector flanges. As if that were not enough, the whole package is coated in a high temp ceramic coating. To make the install easy on you LCE supplies you with all the gaskets needed to bolt your header on your vehicle. Our header flanges are cut to allow the use of OEM exhaust manifold gaskets. These gaskets feature a metal crush fire ring and a heat deflector for the plug wires. No cheap paper gaskets to blow out with an LC Engineering Header. This Header Kit was specifically designed to fit on some rock crawlers and buggy's, vehicles that usually don't have enough space to fit a long tube header.
