Great for hanging
The stand is a joke. The plane although small looks good. It is a little heavy to hang on my Christmas Tree but it looks great.

Great preassembled model for B-52 fans
Already byult, Paint scheme is spot on, even the SAC decal. Excellent attention to detail in the design and construction of this aircraft. Heavy too as its all metal. Didn't come with nuclear Hound Dog missiles though but does have the wing tanks at the end of each wing that drop off front end first but on the model are hard assembled. I use mine sans stand and place it around the house or fly it by hand like a kid. Paint and decals hold up to this as well.

B-52 or "How I learned to stop worring and Love the Bomb"!!!
I bought this model B-52 to place underneath my picture of Peter Sellers as Dr. Strangelove. It is extremely impressive overall, however, one of the tail wings is out of place to a degree, which is a little bit of a let down. I'm not going to bother to send it back, as I am basically happy with it, and it's little imperfection is not something that I can't live with. It's my homage to Dr. Strangelove. In the words of Major Kong: "Waaaaaaa-hoooooooo''!!!! KABOOM!!!

Cold War realism
Just the way i remember the B 52. I was stationed at Homestead AFB from 1962-1966, and this was the color scheme during the Cold War at that time. The model is very well constructed and a great value.

This plane is alive in Denver,
Great job! This plane is real and in Denver at Wings over the Rockies Museum. Example of very early B-52, Cold War, and the 1960's . Only thing it needs is two Hound Dogs under the wings!
