MCS Frames, Essentials, Clip Frame, 5X7 (55507)

Exactly what we wanted. We have many family photos in frameless photo frames on a wall in our home. When a crack was noticed in one 5X7, I realized how much easier it would be to shop online. Amazon helped us get what we needed.

Product description says “3 units” but i only received 1 frame initially. I contacted the seller and they promptly replied with an apology for the error and offered to send the missing frames. They also promptly shipped the missing frames plus one additional frame. I now have my complete order and I am pleased with the quality of the frames. They were just what I was looking for.

The glass broke on one of our IKEA clip frames and IKEA no longer carries them. So I bought this and it works great but there are some slight differences. It is 5x7 exactly which is 12.7cm x 17.78cm. (on the package they rounded up to 13cmx18cm but it is actually a bit smaller. So I had to trim down my artwork to fit this slightly smaller frame. The old IKEA frame came at exactly 13cmx18cm with a back that you could use as a stand. This one does not have the stand feature and can only be hung or you would have to buy a stand.

These frames are throughout my entire house. I love them, and they are basically the only ones I use. I'd recommend these in any size for anyone who wants to frame prints, photos, drawings, etc. They are glass, which some other similar frames are not. Thus, the pane doesn't warp or bend in any way, making the viewing of the thing on display perfect. The clips never bend out of shape like cheaper frames' clips do, and the backer is particle board, not cardboard, which alone is worth the price.I will continue to use and buy these for all my framing/displaying needs and recommend them without hesitation to anyone who is considering the purchase.

I wanted a simple glass frame - no edges, just glass with clips holding it together. These are exactly that - the glass is perfect. The metal clips holding it all together are a *little* on the flimsy side, and I had to bend a few of them to get it to stay - but that wasn't hard, and the frames look great.

Forget that "sold in 3's" nonsense - you are buying one frame. No stand, must be hung up or find a stand.The cover is actually glass, not plastic - nice and clear, no warping. The clips seem to be good quality.

From the title and description, I believed I'd receive three frames. I received one. Others have received three, per the product answers. The description should be updated. The frame itself is nice - chipboard backing, real glass, clips that are easy enough to use; it must be hung/there is no easel for tabletop use, but I was aware of that. If I'd received three as I expected, I'd be quite satisfied. But the description is misleading, either by intention (which is inexcusable) or by an ongoing error that should be corrected. Amazon did make things right for me, which I appreciate, but I still need to obtain the other frames I need, and the value of this item is not high enough for the price when only 1 unit is sent.
