I have been a Sheena Easton fan since Morning Train in the 80s and I have to say this is one of her best cds to date. I have seen so many reviews about it on this site, all good that I had to pique my curiosity and buy it and I am not the least disappointed, I like all the songs my favorite is "My Treasure Is You" it has a catchy tune and can lift you up. The rest of the songs when I have had a bad day and can't get my mind to rest and think positive I listen to this cd and it puts my mind to rest so I can relax and feel good again. So by all means if you are a Sheena Easton fan or know of someone that is tell them they won't be disappointed if they buy this cd. GREAT JOB Ms. Easton!

Sheena brought us close to a theme release with "Home"....Finding where one belongs. She sounds fantastic here, especially on "Moon", "Not While", "Treasure", and the awesome closer "Carry a Dream". Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful record. Very well arranged and produced. Great covers including "Our House" and "Not While I'm Around"...(perfect for Sondheim fans). I say, GET IT! It is worth the money.

compared to her previous album, "freedom", this one is definitely better, but on its own, "home" suffers from more than its share of ill-chosen songs, the worst being "our house". she does redeem herself in "not while i'm around" and "moon". still it's not something i would rush to the store for...especially if it's available as an import.

Sheena Easton is reborn under the sun. After several attempts to create a working formula, Sheena along with Jacobs, produces and arranges her own (Go Girl Power). As a producer and arranger, her voice has never sounded sweeter since "No Strings." The album is a list of songs that are about treasures we feel and see everyday, home. The "Our House" remake, is a winner, with it's silky smooth melodies. "Moon" is a inspiring ballad with the sincerity of "I Would'nt Beg For Water." The second half of the album is filled with a spiritual theme. "Take Me Home" is a sure choir sing along. Easton ends with the tender ballad "Carry A Dream" which she gives a surprisingly strong delivery. This one is a winner, and it goes straight for the heart. Make "Home" a must for your home and add it amongst your most valued treasures.

The set opens with a very sweet, fluffy version of "Our House" and closes with the first single, a thunderous power-ballad, "Carry A Dream" from the film, Marco.Other stand out tracks include "Something Good", "St Jude's Comet", "My Treasure Is You", "Moon" and "Take Me Home". Worth checking out, while it's still in print.
