hold on SM58 you got trouble
kick ass with the best sm 57's and 8s. better bass response without lowering the mid/treble out puts. Itsd way louder without feedbacki than Sm 58s and cheaper. I am a pro musician and have used my Electro-voice exclusively since I bought it. It is just better

Bought this to use with a broadcast camcorder. Would like to have more bass response but this may be the camera since this same mic works fine as a vocal mic thru a PA system.

Ok for the right application, better more versatile options available from EV and others.
This mic is hot. Lots of gain and lots of treble. It should cut really well but didn't have the body (midrange) I was hoping for. Totally different character than an SM58 for example. VERY CLEAR, excellent for speech or the right voice (female soprano maybe?) For me The EV ND76 is a better option with similar cut through but better midrange. If you like that meaty sound then go for the sm58. In between...Beta 58 on the meatier side and E835 on the crisper side, Audix OM2 or OM3 in between. Lot's of good mics out there and this one didn't stand out to me.

A reliable hard worker
I purchased the ND267A mics to match some I had purchased several years ago and liked very much. I did not want the switched mics as the switch does not work well. But the sound and quality of the ND267A is very nice for solo and small group work. I probably won't find any more in the future as they have been discontinued, but their successor (ND676A) will undoubtedly be very good also.

Nice microphone for the price.
Excellent dynamic range and good sounding frequency response. ND element provides high gain before feedback. Great for vocals. Exceptional product for the price.
