Zoook Bluetooth Audio Adapter ZB-BR165

1. Awesome build quality for the price.(I had placed a order for Logitech bluetooth adapter, the build quality can compared to that of Logitech)2. Awesome audio quality, there is no loss in any frequency. Few of the bluetooth adapters I had purchased from Amazon had to be returned as there was loss in low frequency.3. Has a inbuilt battery and works while its charging !!Though the product description does not mention it has a microphone, but would have been great if there was one, that is the only negative !![UPDATE] One observation, it turn itself off if it is not being actively used. I guess its a power saving feature, but I find it very irritating. I want the device to always remain on, not sure how to enable it to always remain on....It also stops charging itself once the battery is fully charged, which is fine as it does not hamper music streaming.

Ver nice product, easy to connect, works as per the specifications.Pros: cheap, easy to connect on Bluetooth, long wire for AUX connect, USB chargingCons: didn't receive phone calls while connected to car stereo. So may be not suitable for someone who wants to use both functions.Summary: I love this product, as I wanted to convert my car stereo to Bluetooth. I wanted it with long wire, not a small AUX pin or dongle as it may obstruct my stereo shutter.

as soon as somebody even walks in the room, sound cracking starts even from a distance of 5-6 feet.Device needs to be in direct line of sight that too within 8-10 feet (not meters) to work.Very poor performance!! For god's sake! improve the range... this is Bluetooth device not infra red!!

PROS:It works. The sound quality when it works is good. It is very small and light.CONS.1) Bad quality build. The Switch is so fragile that I felt it would break on the first day.2) For some reason the adapter used to drop connectivity when I take it away from LINE OF SIGHT. Never thought that Bluetooth device would need LINE OF SIGHT. (Zoook needs to patent LOS for Bluetooth :) )3) I am not sure if the product I received in defective or the model itself is defective.

Problem statement: I have an old Sony Receiver with it's stereo speakers. Wanted to be able to transmit podcasts/music wirelessly to itAlternatives considered:a. Bluetooth receiversb. Wireless hi-fi transmitter/receiver comboSolution chosen: Zoook Bluetooth Audio Adapter ZB-BR165 (based on positive reviews from recent purchases)The product looks smart and nifty out of the packaging. And it works as described. There is a clear-cut instruction that during the pairing process the transmitting device should be within 1m (3 feet) of the Zoook adapter. The pairing happened in less than 15s and I was up and running listening to a podcast within 30s. That was possible because the adapter was shipped "charged". I don't for how long it was in the packaging - from factory shipping to me, but I just loved the "off the shelf" aspect.Quality of the music transmitted from my phone to the audio adapter was good enough when I was about 2m away, and in direct line of sight. Not sure whether I will ever try it from a distance of 10m.The primary reason to purchase this product is to be able to hear podcasts that I play on my phone, on my home audio system, instead of the phone speakers, or having to use headphones. This, while being seated at a table about 5-6 feet away from the Zoook device. Purpose achieved.Have not used the enclosed single pin audio cable. Instead used my existing cable, that connects to RCA connectors at the back of the receiver . Also, have not charged the unit with the enclosed mini USB-to-USB connector cable as yet.The buttons - play/pause, previous and next track - all work. My preference of course is to control that on the transmitting device

Firstly the delivery was very good and on time.The product is also good, sound reproduction and bass is very good when connected with your phones bluetooth however I would have given it 5 stars but there are two major drawbacks which I felt.1 the range upto which this device works is not more then 5m so if u are planning to use this in your living room or something then consider it once again before buying the product.2 since I am using it for my room so I keep the device on all the time as it is very difficult to plug it into power socket again and again so I used to keep it on all the time the problem which I started facing is that I have to turn the device off if I am connecting my device offer 2 hrs or so, which is pretty annoying.If these things were fixed I would give it 5/5

If you bought your car in 2012 or earlier, chances are it doesn't have a bluetooth receiver for music. The Zoook works like a charm in giving legacy audio systems bluetooth capability. I've only tested it in my car and the reception is good in the backseat even (I drive a Storme). Battery backup is impressive too. I'm guessing over 8 hours on a single charge.If there's one downside, it's the mini-USB port for charging and not the more popular micro-USB. But this hasn't bothered me yet. The only workaround is to travel with the wire.
