Attractive connected watch
This is a nice, stylish and somewhat dressy men's watch that works as promised for the most part. It seems to be well made of high quality materials that give it an expensive look. It's not your typical stainless or gold, but it still manages to go with just about anything from jeans to business suits. This watch displays the time (but no second hand) and date on large hands, but some might find it a bit hard to read in low light since there's no illumination on the face or hands at all, and the color contrast between face and hands is pretty minimal. It fit my smallish wrist okay, and although it's slightly larger than the watch I usually wear, it's not exactly huge. One caution is that if you have really big wrists, you might find yourself needing a larger band.Only problem I had was pairing it with the Armani app on my smartphone. I was able to download the app without problem, but it took many attempts to get it paired correctly. Most of the time, the app simply wouldn't pair with the watch, even though everything appeared to be setup properly. Eventually, after a frustrating hour of repeated tries, deleting the app, reinstalling the app, trying different phones - it just seemed to begin working. This is definitely the weakest part of the solution, and hopefully an upgrade to the app will help at some point in the future.Once the watch and app were connected, the watch worked as promised. Time setting is automatic, and if you wear this watch while traveling, it even resets across timezones soon as your phone clock updates. Beyond that, it does the typical step counting thing, and it also has a sleep tracking feature, plus a vibrate function that can be used to alert you to an incoming message. Minimal, to be sure, but handy at the same time.If you're interested in getting into the smart-watch space but you want to do it a little less obviously than putting an Apple Watch on your wrist, this might be just the thing for you.
