Watch face is not blue it’s green!
The watch itself is nicely polished with a decorative engraving on the back. This engraving can be rough on people wo eth sensitive skin/not a problem for me.The watch face is not blue at all as pictured in the ad but green. I happen to like green so I kept it but I could understand where some people might be upset by that. The movement is loud but not overly so and if you use the chronometer function plan on learning to advance it manually as it will go out of time.Packaging was excellent in factory alpina box.The strap…. Is horrible. It’s also quite small on my average worsts. The tiniest bit of water creates permanent stains. Cleans like suede and comes back minutes later. It really sucks. But it’s a fairly common size and other wise a very nice looking watch with nice looks, a decent name, and great presentation box.

Beautiful watch
I was recently introduced to Alpina watches and wanted to round out my watch collection with something on the casual end of the spectrum. When I was browsing their watch collection I saw a beautiful National Park foundation edition watch with a tan leather strap and a green face. As a lover of the outdoors I really found that look attractive, but was not a big fan of a ‘National Park Foundation’ logo plastered on the watch band. Browsing a little further I saw this Startimer watch which also has that same color combination but is a more advanced watch, and also looks more sophisticated (but still casual) in my opinion. This watch comes packaged in a black leather box that has a cover that flips open, and the watch is wrapped around a small black leather pillow. The leather band is soft and has a nice light texture to it. The watch face is 42mm which is a nice size and is fairly thick and weighty. It looks and feels like quality. This watch would go great with elevated casual looks or with outdoors hiking clothes.I’ve included a photo to show how it looks next to an Apple Watch Series 4 (44MM).Everyone that has seen this Startimer watch has complimented it. It is not as functional as a smart watch but if you are looking for something more classic to elevate your look, this is worth considering. I would also say shop around because prices on these kind of watches seem to vary quite a bit all over online.

I would expect better quality from this price point of watch
This review is for Alpina Men's AL-372GR4FBS6 Startimer Pilot Chronograph Big Date Analog Display Swiss Quartz Brown WatchThe watch’s frame feels well-made but I cannot say the same thing for the band. The overall construction of the watch is excellent. The band looks and feels kind of cheap when you consider the price point on this watch. The numbers are very easy to read. You have the date option as well. You can easily wind the date and time. It goes well with any type of outfit.

Sporty and formal at the same time
This watch is a spectacular and sporty Swiss Made quartz watch. The AL-372 movement comes with a great chronograph and big date sub-dial. The quality of the watch is phenomenal and it's a pleasure to wear, as it's both sporty but not over the top, so you can still wear it for most occasions. As always, the Alpina level of finishing is superb! It has a black PVD stainless steel case with a leather strap with a fixed black PVD stainless steel bezel. It features a military green dial with luminous tan hands and Arabic numeral hour markers. Minute markers are around the outer rim. Date display at the 6 o'clock position. Chronograph - three sub-dials displaying: 60 seconds, 60 minute, and 1/10th of a second.Overall, this would be a great addition to your collection if you are looking for a classic yet sporty looking watch with great craftmanship.
