Lovely book.

This book seems to breathe as nature is explored.

Quite apart from the exquisitely beautiful and evocative illustrations, the message of hope contained in every page of this work makes it a book to be handed down through generations. I buy a copy for every baby who comes into my life. I hope they’ll have as much joy as I had in sharing it with their own children.

This is by far the most amazing children's book I've ever seen. Our daughter LOVES it and asks us to read it to her constantly. Such a beautiful story and drawings. She was just under 2.5 when we started reading it to her and it was PERFECT for her even then (despite it being really quite advanced language).

I used this book to help the children to quiet down, because the child in the book explains how special it is to go into woods but you have to be quiet (even when you're a bit cold).

Beautiful story, beautiful book. Illustrations stimulate one's imagination as well, and it's an ideal bedtime story for the little ones.
