Warnings or Restrictions Do not use if: •You have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product. Tyrozets contain 1 g of sucrose per dose. This should be taken into account in patients with diabetes mellitus. •For oral use only. •Do not use for longer than 5 consecutive days. •To benefit from taking Tyrozets you should allow the lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth and not swallow it whole. •As Tyrozets contain a local anaesthetic, you may wish to avoid eating whilst the anaesthesia (numbness) is at its greatest. It is also a good idea to rinse your mouth out with water after eating to avoid any further irritation to the mouth lining by small amounts of food left in the mouth. This medicine is not recommended for children under 3 years old. •Please consult your pharmacist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or breastfeeding. •Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction. •If you think you may be allergic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking. •If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your pharmacist. Other ingredients are: Acacia, magnesium stearate, maize starch, sodium chloride, sucrose, anethole, erythrosine (E127) and peppermint oil.
