Backyard Discovery Saratoga All Cedar Wood Playset Swing Set

I am most disappointed with this product. I have had people scheduled to assemble but one of the main beams is broken and another is fractured and chipped! I have been a longtime loyal customer of Amazon but will think twice before an item this large again! As we continued we found several smaller boards slip where the screw holes were drilled. Also several dried boards that were actually peeling. I will be contacting the company. This isn’t something that can be returned without a great deal of work and time but the replacement boards are the least they should supply.

So where to begin.... I have about 10 years construction experience and I am not impressed by this product. Twisted boards, warped boards, inconsistent instructions, you name it. I question the integrity of the framing and the fasteners are poor quality. The bolts seem to work good. Other than that, there you have it.

Took my husband and I 3 days to put together. It’s too small for my 8 year old, when he swings the whole swing set looks like it’s going to fall apart and he is a average size 8 year old. It’s perfect size for my 4 year old, but my 3 year old can’t do the monkey bars. After a week the door broke and a month later the roof broke off. It’s very cheap material. We should have built one ourselves but thought it would be easier (time saver) to buy one, even thought it would be cheaper, but I would not recommend buying this. I don’t think it will make it another summer before it falls apart

This swing set was very easy to assemble with very understandable instructions.I didn’t know that it was under warranty for at least the first six months but when the play set blew over in a storm I called the company and they replaced every damaged part for free. No questions asked.Although I paid shipping, I consider that a pretty good deal and an example of excellent costumer service.

Complete JUNK!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! IT CAME OVER 3 WEEKS LATE, DELIVERED TO THE WRONG HOUSE ON OUR (3-HOUSE) STREET. Was excited when we realized it actually got delivered, even if to wrong house, until we opened it to start putting it together this morning just to find out the wood is insanely CHEAP and BROKEN!!!!! EXTREMELY disgusted!!!!!

For the amount of money we spent, I am disappointed. It took us FOREVER to install. The product did not come with instructions for phases 1-3 or 18-20. Instructions were not provided for the slide or the ladder either. Hardware was missing from packages. Product seemed to be previously opened, repackaged, and sent to us. If my daughter wasn’t beyond excited to have her very own swing set, I would have returned it. Thank goodness for a husband who is a handyman! Delivery company was excellent! Helped us get boxes to a location we wanted to make it easier for install.

We did lots of shopping for a play set and ultimately chose this one. My husband and father-in-law are very handy and so didn't run into problems putting it together- but did spend two full days doing it. Nonetheless, our daughter LOVES it and uses it constantly- it's durable, attractive, and has a lot of the features of much more expensive sets. Well worth the price!

Was supposed to be "water resistant/proof" as part of the staining....within 3 weeks had mildew growing on the support beams. Unless you take extra steps in waterproofing this set....will age VERY quickly!
