This was a gift, because I like mine so much. As a retired chef, I know how dangerous an exposed mandolin can be. This is not quite as precise, but it worked great quickly slicing cukes for pickling, creating vegetable strings for stir fry, and thin taters for scallops. Easy to clean and use, seems pretty sturdy.

Works great right out of the box, (with minor assembly). Does exactly what it says it does. Haven't used the julienne function yet but I am sure it will work just fine. This is the first mandoline I have use which doesn't scare me. When I was a chef I had sliced my finger too many times with professional mandolins and this one is much easier to use.

Meal prep warriors. Has helped me so much to loose weight and eat better. Has not been dulled in 2 years. My favorite is I make carrot strips when I make my coleslaw. It’s so much better than what you buy at the grocery and makes the slaw way better. But use for everything and meal prepping for the week I am able to cut up a lot of veggies in a little bit of time.

I felt the area where you insert food was small, so it was hard to fit the fruit or vegetable in there, so you'd have to cut it first. Also certain cuts make you have to run the food back through the slicer a second time on a different setting to achieve said cut. To change the slicer settings was confusing, not labeled on the slicer, thus I had to always look at the book to know how to change the settings of the slicer to achieve different types of cuts.

I use this almost every day and love it! Compact design - folds up and handle locks down to store plus has a shield for blade area so it’s safe, easy to clean, very sharp. Easy to change thickness of slices. Has tiny suction cups that hold it firmly in place plus a container that hold about one and a half cups of sliced veggies. Love slicing up lots of veggies for morning omelets and veggies for supper. Also sliced a lot of cucumbers to make some homemade pickles.

As soon as I received my slicer I opened it immediately. We plant a garden every year and have lots of potatoes freshly harvested. I took a few potatoes just to try the product. Easy to assemble. I thought at first it may be too light to remain stable for use. But I was wrong. It is very stable. I thin sliced some for homemade potato chips, some thick sliced for frying, some julienne, and some french fries. It worked great for all. Can hardly wait for the rest of my garden. This will save me hours in prep time for canning and freezing my fresh veggies. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Ich wollte eine Alternative zu teuren Variante und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Man kann wie bei der Produktbeschreibung gezeigt, Scheiben oder auch Sticks in unterschiedlichen Stärken machen. ZEIT ERSPARNIS: Es geht einfach so schnell. Ich spare mir damit so viel Zeit beim Kochen/vorbereiten. ALL IN ONE: Ich möchte so wenig wie möglich Geräte in der Küche haben. Hier ein Produkt, dass mir genau dies ermöglicht. PLATZWUNDER: Es verbraucht unheimlich wenig Platz, da sich alles gut ineinander verpacken lässt. (Siehe mein Video) Kann es nur empfehlen und habe hier ein selbst gedrehtes Video, da auch ich mich immer über sowas freuen, statt nur irgendwelche Werbevideos zu sehen.
