Obviously I used them for germinating seeds. Initially I thought that two of the clear covers were missing but, today, I realised that they were packed so tightly that they were well stuck together. The light must be better today because my eyesight is not very good in poor light. So I must apologise to the seller for my initial review. I am sorry to see that they are not available at present. In addition to their intended purpose they are just big enough to hold jiffy pots which is useful. The cell size is good and I really liked the little rotating ventilators! Actally I love them. My seeds are growing well in them and the cell size is good. I think they will give me good service. I would definitely recommend them and I think they are anything but cheap and nasty!

Having looked at seed trays in garden centres, I looked at these and didn't really expect much. Yes they are relatively cheap plastic but you get what you pay for. The fact that you get a seed tray, drip tray, cover with adjustable vent, and a number of liners for the trays is actually good value. Add in the plastic dibber and other tool and a set of labels and it's all round good value. I might actually order another set as this doesn't disappoint.

Well fitted to each other and I have to confess they were ok and did the job they were made for. The lad has an air vent which is adjustable and while they look cheap and nasty they do the job very well. I highly recommend this product and I will be buy more of them. Hands down, best £16 I’ve spent so far this year. I was weighing up buying a small greenhouse to grow seeds in and was ready to spend £200 when I came across these. I have a big kitchen window that gets a lot of sun and currently have my seeds planted. Fingers crossed they grow!So much better than regular seed trays as they’re already split into 6 compartments and the lid keeps the inside humid, meaning I don’t have to water them everyday. They even have a little ventilation hatch (with varying sized holes) if you need to let out some moisture.Cannot recommend enough. I’m actually going to buy some more for my Dad!

My recent purchase of the above arrived today and I am absolutely delighted. The trays are compact but big enough and look well made. Everything is there ready to fill with compost, plant seeds and wait for the results. I would recommend highly.

Very pleased with the seed trays, they are made out of sturdy plastic, much better than many very thin trays that are available, with a water tray, a seed compartment tray and a ventilated lid that is adjustable. Each seed tray has 6 compartments which are of a good size allowing in many cases to grow from seedling and then plant straight into the ground without potting on first into larger pots. Also comes with little plastic tools for handling seeds and seedlings as well as a set of plastic labels- a nice touch.

Have to agree with the other reviews, these are great.They are of excellent quality, so will last for years. The built in vent device is a great addition and importantly they include the outer tray, to keep the water contained within, where others don't.Germination rate has significantly improved and also is much quicker.I'd definitely buy some more when/if they become available.
