Exactly as I expected.

Brita has been around for a long time and the pitchers and filters are a great solution to having safe, cold water all the time. For me the decision was what size, and since I have a small refrigerator, the 5-cup size was perfect. That may not be the case for a large family.

Perfect size for one person with a small frig.

Quality seems to have gone down in the plastics durability.Seems thinner and possibly will break easier.

This pitcher was exactly what I was looking for! Works well and doesn't take up a lot of room in the fridge

It is great for purifying small amounts of water. Easy to use and the filters are very good at making the water safer to drink.

I love this smaller pitcher. It is just the right size and the taste of water is great.

I have a Setpower AJ40 42 quart electric cooler in my shop. It's been a life saver during the hot summers. I hate that I have to trek all the back to my house to get filtered water though. This thing is so small it fits perfectly on one side of my cooler. I still have room for 25x 12oz cans. For a 40oz water bottle, however, you'll need 2x hopper fills or 1x full brita pitcher's worth of water. No matter, though, I just fill it back up, wait a second, fill it again and throw it back in the cooler for cold filtered water an hour down the road.
