Review: Exceeded my expectations! - I have NEVER EVER purchased boxed root touch-up before. Nor have I ever touched up my roots with any permanent product. I have to get my gray roots touched up every 5 weeks. I use root-touch up powder the week-and-a-half prior to my 5 week appointment so I don’t have to go every 4 weeks. With all the salons being closed due to the pandemic, I was in a quandary where to turn. By this time, my roots were almost 2 inches of gray! UGH!! I read a lot of reviews for many different hair products but decided on this one....OH MY GOSH!!! It turned out BEAUTIFULLY!!! I’ve heard horror stories from my (high-end) salon about how you should NEVER mention the words “box color” in their presence (lol!) But I’m so glad not only that I took a chance, but that I chose this product to make the leap. I would genuinely use this every 4-5 weeks instead of going to the salon (it’s THAT good) but I couldn’t effectively do the root touch-up in the back of my head. The color actually matched better IMO than what I get at the salon (I chose dark blond). Also included with the kit was 2 pair of salon-quality black gloves, 2 head-covers, 2 bowls and one packet each of shampoo and conditioner (wasn’t expecting that). The kit supplies 2 root-touch kits. The directions were flawless and very simple to follow. I would choose dpHUE Root Touch-Up Kit again and again. Review: Did not work on grey hair - The color is expired and did not work on my Grey's, not sure why Sephora stopped selling this brand as I have something to comoare it with, but I don't think if is available in Canada anymore so I was happy to see desertcart carry it but it looks like not the same formula or old product was shipped to me, no refunds allowed and no response from seller. I still have 1 left and will be throwing it away, unfortunately as it use to be a great product.

Did not work on grey hair

Color already developed before I used it
When I opened it the color had already developed. I applied it anyway but no color took-still gray! Have used this product many times but the last two orders did not take. Looks like it’s time to switch products.

Worked great to cover greys
It was fairly easy to use and I liked the brush. Package came with 2 kits. I ordered the dark blond and it is a bit darker than my hair so next time I will order the medium blond.
