Easy to use and clean
Use this twice a week to cold brew coffee. While it does hold 64 oz of water one has to compensate for the filter and coffee used for the brew. 2 to 4 tablespoons of coffee per 8 oz of water is the norm. I use 4 tablespoons per 8 oz. I pour 56 oz of water into the brewer, coarse grind 28 tablespoons of my favorite coffee, screw the coffee filled filter onto the lid, insert the filter and screw on the lid. Voila!! 12 to 36 hours later (depending on ones taste) I have enough cold brew for 3 to 4 days. You will get micro grounds in the coffee but most sink to the bottom of the container. You can remove the filter after your preferred brew time and keep the coffee in the brewer. I usually pour the completed brew into a mason jar (can filter if desired) and store in the fridge. This way you can start a new brew before you exhaust your supply. The bottom of the filter can be unscrewed for easy cleaning.

Great pot for iced tea
I wanted to trade my plastic Pampered Chef pitcher for glass, and I wanted something to use loose tea in. I also make sun tea. This is great. Even when I use tea bags, I don't have to fish them out because they're in the strainer in the center. It has been hit and miss about how much tea to use, but that's OK. This also fits in the door of my fridge, the strainer in the center is very easy to remove and screw in, and the container is very easy to clean. I am the only one in my house who drinks iced tea, and it makes plenty for me. The only complaint is that the pouring hole is small. I would give this as a gift. It's very nice.

Great product 👍
Great carafe and very simple design for cleaning.Have made 3 batches of countertop cold brew coffee and playing with the ratios of grounds to full water level. Recommend 12-16 tablespoons and 12-16 hours without any agitation.

Just ordered a second one
I love this for cold brew coffee but it works equally well for iced tea. I usually have coffee in the morning and tea the rest of the day, so I ordered a second one for tea. "Brew time" depends on how strong you like your coffee and which particular coffee you are using. I have done as little as 12 hours up to 36 hours and enjoyed them all. I was not a coffee drinker until about 4 years ago. I discovered cold brew coffee when I received a coffee Ninja as a gift and have been a fan ever since. This is so much less complicated and much easier to clean than the coffee Ninja.

Solidly made, serves its purpose well
This serves its purpose well. It is constructed mostly of glass, which seems robust, and stainless steel, with only a small amount of plastic, so the leaching of harmful chemicals into the tea or coffee should be minimal, if at all. It is advertised mainly for cold brew coffee, with iced tea as an afterthought. I found that gunpowder green tea doesn't work well in this, because the expanded leaves too easily cover up the very fine mesh of the filter. But loose black tea leaves steep just as they should. Only two minor issues: The handle on the top of the lid is only for turning the lid; you can't pick up the assembly by that handle. Also, the plastic collar around the top of the glass cannot be removed for cleaning, leaving the possibility of accumulation of residue between the collar and the glass, though dishwasher cleaning might take care of this.

Thoughtfully & Beautifully Designed Infuser
I use this to brew tea and I love it! The infuser keeps leaves and sediment out of the drink and is so easy to clean. It seals completely, allowing me to shake without worries. Opening the pitcher up to pour is simple. The pitcher is exactly the right height to fit on the top shelf of my refrigerator. This is beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommended!

Perfect to keep your ice tea
We wanted a way to make ice tea and leave it on the counter for use. This is perfect. We throw two large tea bags in it and fill with boiling water. Once the tea is made we remove the bags and have the tea on the counter ready for use. It is a nice looking container, is easy to use and easy to keep clean.

Had to buy two
This works so well, especially with specialty teas, that I had to get a second one. The flavors were so amazing, I was getting frustrated that I had to wait a day for the next batch. I made iced earl gray, and all the flavors were strong and present, and not outshined by the bergamot. The teas diffused perfectly and evenly.

Good quality but lowers flavour quality.
This cold brewer is really well made. Solid glass pitcher, sturdy plastic handle and cap. The inner filter is plastic and metal. It works really well. The downside is that the filter basket isn’t large enough to put enough grains in it. A good cold brew should have two parts water to one part grains and brew for 14-18 hours. Because you can’t get as many grains in this one, you have to brew it much longer - over 24 hours. That’s a problem. Cold brew coffee is generally less acidic and bitter than hot brewed coffee but extended the brewing time so much means it ends up tasting a little more tart than other cold brewed coffees. I’ve stopped using the inner filter but have continued using the pitcher because it’s great.

Poor design but good materials.
Materials are good quality, however, I found the design very flawed or maybe I had a defective model. First the spout is very difficult to screw in and around. When pouring it takes a lot of work to make sure liquid doesn't fall out everywhere. I had several incidents where I poured liquid and it went all over the counter. Got fed up. The filter also doesn't go deep enough into the container. I also don't like that you have to screw the filter right into the lid and there is nothing to protect the glass bottom of the carafe. I prefer the Primula cold brew maker. Much better design. Had high hopes for this one as I like Hamilton Beech, but had to send back unfortunately as it's just not performing adequately for me.

Still working out the kinks
The pitcher makes enough coffee for me for a week, and I am still working out the amounts and brew times. I am puzzled how the fine screen is letting through so many coffee particulates, so I am laying around with a courser ground coffee and playing with the infuser time. Otherwise, the product is well constructed and easy to clean.
