FITINDEX Smart Body Composition Scale with Handle, 8-Electrode, 50+ Metrics

Easy to use and a great way to track progress.

I've had this now for over 4 months. It is an excellent buy and well worth it. I bought it while shifting my diet over to a low-carb diet. It has monitored my weight loss daily over this time. I've lost 21 pounds and I've watched my body fat and BMI come into normal ranges. I was probably only 10 pounds overweight but I'm still losing. The scale is accurate and repeatable. I can step on and off and it weighs the same. The rechargeable battery lasts quite a long time. I use it daily and recharged it after 4 months. It probably could have gone longer but I just plugged it in and recharged it, no batteries to replace. I like the app and the instant connection to the scale when I weigh in. You need to have your phone in bluetooth range and the app up and it syncs instantly. It will also sync to the FitBit app but it seems to be a day behind. Not sure why, could be on the FitBit end to force you to buy one of their overpriced scales. Don't waste your money on a FitBit scale, get one of these and it will work fine. I'm not sure how accurate all the various measurements are that it takes and/or estimates. I wish I had better insight in how the scale makes these measurements or calculations. So I take these with a grain of salt but I can say that I can see the fat loss for myself and even if there is error in these absolute measurements it shows me I am on the right track. The thing I'd most be interested in is how it calculates my base metabolic rate. Overall I would recommend. It has helped me stay focused on my fitness.

Great product and is “as described”.

I got this a couple of weeks ago, it worked great the first couple of times, but then it would not. I have been keeping it in my bathroom, and the functions other than the weight have quit working. Today I wiped it off to send it back, and thought maybe I should try again. It worked without water spots on the metal plates 🤪 ... so word to the wise, you may not want to keep this one in your bathroom.

VERY EASY SET UP AND ACCURATE. GOOD VALUE

My wife and I are watching what we eat and are tracking our weight and body measurements, so we wanted a "smart" scale to help us track weight, body fat, etc... and sync them to a tracking app so we can fine tune our exercise and eating routines to match our goals. We purchased a Renpho bluetooth scale for our bathroom to replace an aging Fitbit Aria scale. It was low cost, able to track multiple users and syncs with most of the online health apps (we use Fitbit and Apple Health). Turns out the kids loved coming into our room to weigh themselves too. We have 4 teenagers and they kept coming into the bathroom to weigh themselves and generally kept creating a mess, so we decided to purchase this newer version of the Renpho scale specifically for them to use. Experience so far has been the same as with our other scale... cost is great, product seems to work well and it tracks multiple users and syncs to cloud health apps. With both scales I'm not convinced that the calculations for body fat percentage are entirely accurate. We have a pretty fancy body composition testing machine at my gym and my weight is the same with the Renpho scale and the gym machine, but my body fat composition is significantly different. For that reason I don't obsess much about the actual body fat reported by the Renpho scale, but I just track my progress. I figure if I am losing body fat, that's the primary goal. For a sub $30 scale, I can't expect perfect results, just information that is "directionally correct". The only other item to understand about these bluetooth scales is that they don't communicate with the cloud service directly, they transmit your data to an app on your phone via bluetooth, then your phone sends the data to Fitbit, Apple Health, etc.... That means that you need to have a phone near the scale at some point to capture the weight information. Not a big deal, but a mild inconvenience. Again, for the price, the scale does exactly what I need. If I wanted a scale that syncs directly to Apple Health or Fitbit without using the phone, I'd buy a much more expensive scale.
