Garden Gnome Statue with Solar Lights

It’s adorable and the lantern lights well if we’ve had a sunny day . Doesn’t work on rainy overcast days. It does tend to tip over very easily. My husband has glued them to a paver for extra balance. Works great.

While the bulb itself is very bright, the design of the lantern, with the bulb on the bottom, surrounded by the solar panel, almost all light created gets wasted upwards and outwards, sending almost none to illuminate the figure or the ground surrounding it. Forget any nighttime display anything close to the pictures. The figure is well made, but feels a bit light, especially compared to ceramic or cement figures of equal size, and likely to blow over in strong winds. Without this added weight, it is also unstable on any surface that isnt flat and hard, such as in a dirt flowerbed, or on a layer of mulch. Overall, it's a cute addition during the day, but almost useless at night and as unsteady as a baby giraffe on ice.

They are just adorable. I bought them as gifts for friends. Now I want one too. I will order one for me because it would look so cute in my flower garden. I think my friends will be so pleased with them.
