Absolutely as advertised. The citric acid / malic acid coating lasts a minimum of a thought destroying solid minute + which was what I was looking for / what was desired. Also makes for an incredible mock-sour if added to carbonated water!

These were bought as stocking stuffers for my kids and for a laugh! Nothing funnier than the scrunched up faces after popping a Mega Sour Candy in your mouth! They loved them, even though it looked like they were suffering at first. They even handed them out to friends when they came to visit and the resulting funny faces and laughs were so worth it! Once you get past that extreme sour flavor, the fruit candy was sweet and tasty!

5 stars if not soooo expensive. Definitely the most sour candy out there

Bought for someone who “loves” sour things. Couldn’t even eat it because it was too sour it “hurt”. I’d call that a win!! Lol

Practically $1 per piece of candy, topped with extremely sour coating (definitely is over the top sour) over a sweet candy with a dab of sour in the middle that doesn't last long. Ridiculously overpriced and the same concept as sour patch kid candy with the sour over the candy not lasting too long. Then you get the majority of the sweet candy which is 95% of the candy. This just gives you a small dab of sour in the center to say it's sour all the way through when it is not. A total waste of money if you wanted nonstop sour especially for the astronomical price! The packets are so small and when they arrive I couldn't believe I paid over $30 for 4 small mini packets. Update: after I sent this review my husband told me he’s throwing them all away. After having two in a row he said his tongue felt burnt from the top sour coating. He needed sour candy and as short lived the sour was, it still burnt his tongue. Definitely don’t recommend anyone purchasing this product

Very sour and good!!!

I'm not sure what magic they put into these, but they are truly mega sour! They are little but mighty in flavor. My husband loves sour candy but most are lackluster to him. These are so sour it actually gets a reaction out of him! We bring these to parties to see who can last the longest eating one, super fun! Seeing my husband finally get bested by a sour candy was totally worth the price.
