Perfect for Mix Reef Tank
The sand is so beautiful. You can see the pink colors. And it won’t blow away easily.I got one bag for my 25g Innovative Marine Fusion Lagoon 25g. It’s about 1/2”- 3/4” in most parts, in some areas It’s about 1”- 1 1/4”.The Diamond Orange Goby can shift it with no problem. But the Two dot Goby is spitting the bigger size and the smaller or finer sands goes out it’s gills.Hope this can help.

Great Sand - Quality Product
I am using this 20-pound bag of Arag-Alive sand to provide live-sand filtration support inside of a mini-litterbox repurposed for this sand. 20# of sand provided a roughly 3" deep surface in that container, which was then placed into my open sump in my hydroponic tray grow-out tank setup. The bag came with some water conditioner to help reduce cloudiness, but I didn't need it in my case. The sand provides a great living bed for nitrifying bacteria and works great for this application.

Great for cycling new tank! Nice grain size.
Great product. Helps to cycle new tanks faster. Only issue I had with product description was that it didn't identify grain size. May bag was course sand, which means it is smaller than crushed coral and large enough that it doesn't get sucked up when vacuuming the bottom during water changes.

Outright scam. NOT Bimini Pink. Fake stickers used to cover up original info printed on bag.
This is just a blatant scam. I’ve bought many bags of the Bimini pink live sand in the past and I knew immediately when I took this bag out of the box that it was NOT Bimini pink. On further inspection I found two blue stickers on the bag, as seen in the photo. One sticker covered up the original barcode printed on the bag and the label “Bahamas oolite.”The other blue sticker said “best if used by December 2022. That sticker covered up the original “best by” date of December 2021, again as seen in the photo.

Ugly sand.... Wont buy it ever again.
Its ok, but very rocky. I wouldnt ever buy this again. As a matter of fact, I ordered a sand that I knew was good, and trying to remove as much of this as possible and replace with the good sand. Also, it had a bunch of dead bugs (mosquitos) in it, and red pebbles too. It just doesnt look very nice at the bottom of my tank. Cant wait to get it out of there. At the same time, it was 20 pounds and the correct color.Update: The longer I leave this sand in my aquarium, the more I dislike it. My water has been cloudy for days. Its going on the 4th day and have now added two submersible powerhead/filters to help clear the water. Hopefully tomorrow it will be clear again. So bad. I used teh stuff recommended below in my first tank, and didnt have any of these problems and I dumped it right in without washing it. Didnt wash this either, but wished I had.I recommend (its very nice): Nature's Ocean No.0 Bio-Activ Live Aragonite Live Sand
