Power Serum, 1 OZ

Thank you New Zealand for blessing us with your face products. I wasn’t sure what to expect as this is a new to me brand but I’m super happy with it. The product says serum but it’s not a clear serum but more of a milky serum. It absorbs so nicely in to skin, feels very hydrating while not feeling heavy. I’ve been using it at night for a couple of weeks and see improvement in my skin; it just looks more refreshed and smooth. Even my mom commented the other day while we were outside telling me my complexion looked really good. She assumed it was my foundation but I didn’t really have any on, so this was a BIG compliment. My skin also tends to dry out once any cold weather rolls in and this serum has helped prevent dryness and flaky skin. I’m in my early 40s and I think this serum is excellent for my sensitive skin.

I was interested in getting this serum, because along with the amino acids, squalane, and HA, this product has bioactive revivyl, which provides many skincare benefits including reactivating the natural skin renewal cycle, enhances moisturization of the skin, and protects the skin microflora for healthy skin; along with reducing fine lines and wrinkles. There are so many good things in this serum, I couldn’t pass it up. This is a light, creamy serum that does not have a scent to it. My face is fairly oily, so when I use this product on my face with other serums and moisturizers, it seems to not absorb as quickly, remaining slightly tacky for a period of time. Although, when I put it on my neck as the only skincare product, it quickly absorbs and leaves my neck nicely hydrated for the full day. For me, this works best when I use only minimal skincare products on my face at night, such as this serum, a retinol, and then moisturizer. Over the two weeks that I have used this product, I have noticed a visible improvement to my neck, actually I’m a bit shocked at how good my neck does look. Full, disclosure, I also use a retinal on my neckat night, however I didn’t start seeing the lessening of crepiness until after I began using this serum (the 3 photos show my progression from Oct 15 (start of retinal) Nov 2 (start of Trilogy) to Nov 16). I believe this bottle will last several months, as I only need a few drops of the serum for my face (at night) and neck (day and night). I’ll definitely use the full bottle and if I continue to see positive changes, I’ll purchase a new bottle and provide an additional update to my review.

While there is a very slight "drag" immediately upon application, it is not significant and disappears as the product dries. It leaves behind a nice clean finish that has a noticeable physical smoothing effect on the skin's surface. SCENT: All the Trilogy products I’ve used in this line have a unique—and somewhat unusual—scent which I can only describe as being akin to the faint vinyl smell you note when opening up a new pool floatie. It’s not harsh like chemicals, but I struggle to associate it with the included botanicals. In any event, it dissipates quickly after application. SENSITIVITY: Even with my very sensitive skin, I experienced no stinging, redness, or breakouts from this serum. I’m actually fairly relaxed when trying new Trilogy products now because they’ve consistently been gentle on my delicate skin. However, there are botanical extracts and other fragrance, so you might do a patch test to ensure the ingredients are agreeable to you. OVERALL: I appreciate that it's a clean choice and isn't loaded with cheap, unnatural fillers. I also like the inclusion of Prine Ginseng and Squalane, which my skin has responded to well in the past. While I know the primary purpose of this serum is to help you retain collagen, rather than regenerate new collagen, I still wish it was a little more moisturizing and plumping.

It’s too soon to tell if will help my skin in the long run, but for the 3 weeks I’ve been using Trilogy Pro Collagen+ Power Serum, I’ve noticed a slight improvement. Im excited to see after a few months of using this serum morning and night how much my skin will continue to improve. It’s a good value and it feels wonderful on my skin.

This is a nice collagen cream for the face. It tightens fine lines and reduces puffiness around my eyes. The fragrance is soft, not overpowering. The lotion is creamy and goes on smoothly. It works as well as its pricy competitors.

Could be my imagination but I do feel like some glow has returned to my complexion since using this, absorbs fairly quickly, I recommend it,

I waited a few weeks before writing this review because I wanted to really test the Trilogy Pro Collagen+ Power Serum and see if it made a difference. The texture is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and feels hydrating. I like the combination of vegan collagen amino acids, hyaluronic acid, and squalane because it’s a good mix for moisturizing and supporting skin firmness. Using it only at night, I did notice my skin feeling a bit more plump and refreshed in the mornings. The results are similar to other collagen or firming serums I’ve tried. I saw another reviewer got whiteheads, but I didn’t experience any irritation or adverse effects. Overall, it’s a solid serum. Not a dramatic, life-changing product, but definitely a good, gentle addition to a nighttime routine if you want some extra hydration and mild firming benefits.
