Adjustable height great for me at 5'2"
I was concerned because I'm 5'2". The height was a bit too tall so I let some air out to drop it down and that helped fit me better. The material is a hard plastic so it's not as soft as I had thought it would be to sit on but I placed a fuzzy blanket for cushion. I use this at my standup desk so it's perfect. It makes me sit up straight in an active position so I'm using my legs and stomach. Looks great if it's sitting next to my desk and doesn't take up much room.

Glad I Bought It
Overall I like it. Performs as expected. I enjoy sitting on it for a couple hours at a time. I thought it was a little overpriced. Wish the top was smooth. Arrived in a day and in excellent condition.

Nice, but might not meet posted weight maximums
Received my ErgoErgo, and really liked it, at first.ErgoErgo's website says that the stool is good for folks who weigh up to "at least 300 pounds".However, I weigh 250 pounds or so, and my ErgoErgo is failing after a couple of weeks of use. (8 hours per day, 5 days per week.)When I write that it is failing, what I mean is that the accordion-like folds have begun to collapse, on the one side, and then higher up the other. The result is something of an S-curve. The stool rises from the floor, cants one way, and then back again. So, the stool is not as tall as before, and is always in a funky position that cannot be corrected simply by getting back to "center".I am enthusiastic about the possibilities of active sitting. I certainly have noticed improvements in my core muscles. And, the first day using the ErgoErgo, I had to stand during several parts of the day, because I was too tired to sit. :-) True story. But, this now "recurved" ergoergo causes me some back pain.Bottom line (no pun intended) is that this stool seems to be really great, if you are a girl, or a man whose core is already in such good shape that he doesn't need this stool.I am excited to buy a future ErgoErgo, when it comes out in a Big&Fat edition.Excelsior!

Great ergo chair alternative!
This ergonomic chair has proven to help with my low back chronic pain issues. It's easy to maneuver and transport. With my work from home status, I neglected to bring the chair with me and started experiencing low back pain at home. Fetched the chair from my work station, brought it home and the pain is subsiding, there's a noticeable difference from when I use it vs do not use the chair on the daily. Great investment for such a little dollar amount. Don't delay!

Solved my lower back pain problem
I've been teleworking since March and had been using a simple kitchen chair as my work-chair. Every time I got up after sitting for long periods of time, my lower back hurt, and I had to work out the kinks. I've been using this chair for less than a week, but I can already see the difference where I don't need to "work out the kinks" every time I leave the chair! It also makes it hard to slouch while working. I'm very happy with this!

Fun posture correcting stool!
This stool is exactly what I wanted! I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks now, but I feel like my posture at work is already improving. I do think it should have come with a recommendation to begin use in short increments (as sitting all day on that kind of stool has the potential of making you pretty sore), but I had fortunately read that on a similar product previously. The seat does flex when sitting on it, but I think it’s made to do that. It does not collapse, but it is nice and flexible and adjusts to how you want to sit. I am quite short and this fits me well!

Gift for Grandson
Purchased the Ergo Chair for my grandson. He will probably grow to like it a little better but I was impressed and will be ordering one for me.

Great for tweens with ADHD
Bought this for my 11 yr old daughter who has ADHD, for when she does distance learning. She has used a chair like this in the past at school and asked for one for home. It helps a lot with keeping her in one place during zoom calls.
