Pound for Pound the BEST
Any other ballast that compares to LUMATEK costs far more money.Adjusta Watt cost about 30% more for a very similar product. In the USA Solis Tek and Phantom are available for just a little more but, in the UK, they are specialist imports that cost about twice the price as a Lumatek.Other makes include the Chinese made Quantum that, despite very persuasive advertising, are notorious for the RF interference they cause (TV's all over the street going funny will CERTAINLY bring lots of attention to your new ballast).Lumii, Maxibright and other budget ballasts cost a little less but are worth much less than Lumatek. Then there are the expert professional ballasts such as Gavita. At more than double the price of Lumatek they are only worth it to the very few who aspire to grow award winning harvests. And the special two ended bulbs cost a lot more, also.LUMATEK offers the best compromise between price and quality.Pound (£) for Pound (£) probably the best ballast in the World(and certainly the best on the UK market).

Work great, die young
These ballasts don't last very long, about 1.5 years on average for me. But they do work well until they decide to quit.
