Final conclusion (product test below), this product meets expectations for an all natural deodorant, without the obnoxious irritation or clothing staining complaints I’ve seen in other products. User is advised to plan on reapplication 3-4 hours as needed. I will be purchasing the other scents as a result of my positive experience. Reviewing this as a female who feels some women's products just leave you short changed, plus I prefer not to smell like baby powder or fruit. I've tried a fair number of nonaluminum deodorants and so far this one has been best. So satisfied that I'm just going to quit searching and plan on repurchasing this. I love woodsy scents and this is very nice. The stick scent is quite strong but on your skin it's just a nice fragrance. I don't expect it to work like an aluminum product, but if I apply it after my shower at night and again in the morning while dressing, I have no issues with odor. Of course it's not going to sustain you 24 hours if you've been perspiring very heavily but of course you'd shower then anyway. I also like the width of the stick, it is very solid but it applies very smoothly and covers your skin well. Some deodorant sticks are either abrasive or crumbly or chalky, or else seem too thin on application, but this stick is good. They got it right.

The initial smell after applying is pretty nice. However, it doesn't seem to be that effective as a deodorant, so I end up smelling after working up a sweat. I've used only aluminum-free and nature deodorants for many years, and honestly can't remember the last time I caught a whiff of BO on myself.

Howdy again, folks! Now, let me tell you about my experience with the Barrel & Oak Aluminum-Free Deodorant. You see, I saved up for two whole months to get me two sticks of this here deodorant, thinkin' that the most expensive one must be the best. But, boy, was I in for a letdown. The description claimed it would last a whole 24 hours, but I reckon it barely made it to the four-hour mark. Now, bein' out on the farm and workin' up a sweat, I expected a deodorant that could handle the job. Unfortunately, this one fell short. The scent, which they called Bourbon Cedar, wasn't even noticeable, and it seemed to disappear even quicker after a hard day's work. The item description talked about natural ingredients and how it's gentle on sensitive skin. Well, I reckon it might be gentle, but it sure ain't effective. I was hopin' for a deodorant that would keep me smellin' fresh like the man I want to be, but it just couldn't deliver. They claim to use premium ingredients and natural fragrances, but I couldn't detect much of a scent at all. I reckon the natural fragrances might be more subtle, but in my opinion, a deodorant should do more than just be subtle. It should keep you feelin' and smellin' clean all day long. Now, Barrel & Oak may talk about bein' designed for the modern man and havin' all these fancy ideals, but at the end of the day, I just needed a deodorant that worked. And this one, despite its hefty price tag, didn't meet my expectations. I gotta say, I was hopin' for a product that would be earth-friendly, wallet-friendly, and keep me smellin' like a million bucks. But sadly, Barrel & Oak's deodorant didn't deliver on any of those fronts. It claims to be all-natural and cruelty-free, but it didn't do much for me when it came to odor protection and longevity. So, my friends, if you're lookin' for a deodorant that can handle the farm life and keep you smellin' fresh all day, I reckon you might wanna look elsewhere. As for me, I'll be stickin' to somethin' a bit more reliable and budget-friendly.

Love the scent on this -- the patchouli is not so strong that it makes you smell like a hippie. This is definitely more of a deodorant than an antiperspirant. Long-lasting protection against smells, but only so-so if you're concerned about staying completely dry. I tend to wear a tshirt underneath my dress shirts to absorb any moisture. Minimal yellowing in the armpit area due to the product.

The smell is really great, but the longevity sucks. It lasts nowhere near 24 hours.

I’ve tried many deodorants, in search of the perfect one, and this is probably it. I live in a very hot and humid climate. Dividing my time between office and meetings as well as physical activities. On day-to-day basis. So an excellent deodorant is a must where I live. And if a deodorant is not bulletproof, it’s impossible not to notice almost immediately. To make matters harder, I’ve vowed to stop using synthetic chemicals on my skin. Which took most aggressively efficient deodorants off the list. I’ve tried several natural, and pseudo natural, deodorants. But unfortunately none of them could really survive an average Summer day. The Olivina is made of truely excellent natural ingredients, which is paramount for a substance one applies to their skin every day. While a lot of other would be natural deodorants are only too eager to mix a myriad of synthetic chemicals with unpronounceable names into the mix. While using natural substances as a Fig leaf for their “Natural” label. Olivina delivers in spades when it comes to efficacy as well. The stick goes on very smoothly and easily, applying evenly on the skin. Unlike some natural sticks I’ve tried that feel like rubbing Sandstone on your armpits. The Olivina has a wonderful Cedar and Pine scent, which is notably original, while still staying in that classic crowdpleasing range. It smells natural, but not faint. It is a clean and masculine scent with an understated presence. So I don’t feel perfumed by any means, while at the same time the natural scent of essential oils gives a definite and pleasant aromatic baseline. That does not allow the smell of sweat or body odor to take the Four. Although at first it did not seem cheap, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that very little of it goes a very long way. And in effect the Olivina outlasted most other natural or synthetic brands I have tried. Earning a 10/10 for me.

Used this for a little over a week. Great 5 star smell. Smells like Juniper to me. Lasts about 4 hours. I can start to smell my BO around 8-10 hours after application. I'd recommend using with an unscented deoderant or antipersperant if you want more than 4 hours of protection. I wasnt expecting to have to use with an unscented deoderant when I bought it. Was using an antipersperant before and it lasted 14+ hours for me no problem. That's why I knocked it from 5 stars to 3.

very oily, minimal small, causes weird bumps on the armpits. Definitly wont be ordering again or suggesting it to anyone I know. The smell was okay 3/10 but only lasts a minute
