I'd rate this 5 stars, but will say that the light you have really matters. It needs to not have anything protruding on the sides, especially on the left side. The issue is the the molded holster protrudes really far into the space where the light goes into the holster. The light I originally had was pretty low profile but has the tightening screw and switch on the left side...the same side where the holster is molded inward and has the snap riveted on. This caught on the light both inserting the gun into the holster and upon drawing. With a truly low profile light (like the Laspur Sub Compact Tactical Rail Mount LED High Lumen Flashlight), the holster works perfectly. The holster has two snap on options to cover the light. The light I mentioned allows for the use of the smaller cover....that's a big plus since the two options vary significantly in size. The holster is comfortable. Provides a secure hold on the gun. Magazine holder is well made. It's not adjustable tension on mags but is a good snug fit for the mags. SDVE40.

Let's put all these reviews to rest and go with what's actually good and bad about this holster.I ordered the one for the S&W SD9-VE. My purpose for this holster is only for carrying around the house and not for concealed carry.1) What's included in the package - To my surprise, it came with 2 attachments for lights (shown in pics), the holster of course, and a 2 magazine holster.2) Quality - Great quality. Nothing you wouldn't expect from any other quality manufacturer. The underside of the paddles for the pistol and magazines (the part that sits against your skin) is slightly padded with what feels like a thin layer of rubber for comfort.3) Adjustments - None. There's no cant adjustment. No adjustment to tighten against your waistline.4) Fit - My pistol fits very well, but because it's a passive retention holster there's a little bit of play with the gun (about 3/4"). See pictures. One pic shows it fully seated and the other pic shows it pulled back as far as it can go while retained. And that's why I gave it a 3 star rating. I would expect a "universal" holster to have this kind of play, but to order a holster specifically designed for the gun/light combo it's designed for should have less play.I don't think this alters the safety of the firearm by much, but if you want a holster that COMPLETELY covers the trigger at all times, then this probably won't be the holster for you. As for me, I don't want to see the trigger AT ALL while my gun is holstered.

The light always turns on while on holster and the gun gets caught a lot when putting it back in. The unlock mechanism isn't great . In a real scenario I would be dead if I needed to take the gun out in an emergency. However as far as the securement of the gun, that is good. It doesn't fall out. The magazine holder is also great.

This is my first Holster in preparation of a tactical class. The class requires a Holster setup. The package arrived on time and I would order from here again. The holster in general feels comfortable with a Tact belt.

Love it. Fits my SD9VE perfectly with or without light. Better with the light. Mag holder works great.

Fits my SD9VE like a glove! Only thing I would say is it doesn’t slide in as smoothly as I would like with my tac light (CMR-208). Overall a safe and good looking holster.

Fits my smith & wesson sd9ve perfectly snug but easy enough to pull out with or without tactical light!
