Somewhat flimsy
These bowls are ok. The colors are exactly as pictured. I was just anticipating a different, more rigid plastic. The plastic these bowls are made of reminds me of margarine tubs only thicker. If I had felt them before purchasing I would have looked for something different

Perfect
I've been stocking my new home post-divorce and for some reason I kept constantly forgetting mixing bowls. This set us perfect for what I needed. My kids use the little ones for snacks, the medium ones are great for mixing anything and the big one is a popcorn bowl! I ready some reviews that they seem thin, but I think they're the perfect... thickness. They're sturdy and don't bend, they do great in the microwave and dishwasher. They're, well - perfect!

Cheap materials
I had a set of plastic mixing bowls for many years and apparently they were more like melamine -- a very hard plastic that cracked if dropped (which is what happened over the years). I loved them and thought these were similar but they're made of thin, bendable, semi-transparent plastic which makes them less than ideal for using hand mixers, immersion blenders, etc. You get what you pay for and I should've known by the low price.

Lightweight and attractive!
Love these cheery mixing bowls! They are lightweight, unbreakable and so easy to use. I had a set of Pyrex mixing bowls and they were so heavy, I really hated taking them out of the cabinet. The only reason I can imagine needing a glass mixing bowl would be for making merengue. I don't make merengue anymore, out they went! LOL

Good quality, large size
These are great for mixing bowls. They have been used and washed in the dishwasher many times. No fading or scratching so far. Very happy with quality and price.

Merely Adequate
I bought these for our travel trailer. Although they fill the need for mixing bowls I have to admit that they are merely adequate. They are a rather cheap plastic that scratches easily when using. I'm keeping them since it's only for occasional use while traveling. However, I simply can not recommend these for home use. Pay a little extra for something good

Great bowls!
I love these bowls. I have them on an open shelf near where I bake and I reach for them all the time. They're somewhat flexible, which is what I wanted. I dropped a hard plastic mixing bowl and it broke on impact a few months ago, so I got these. They are very easy to clean (I hand wash everything) and the various sizes make them ideal for serving a lot of different items. The colors are rich and vibrant. I wish I needed more bowls so I could get multiple sets. These would be ideal as a housewarming gift!
