The first HIGH QUALITY multi-pen I've used. LOVE IT!
As an avid journal writer, many years ago I singled out Uniball Jetstream as my favorite pen (even better than the pilot G6, which was a close runner up.) Twenty or so years later, enter Uni Jetstream multi pen AND pencil. WOW!!!! It's a multicolor pen that writes smoothly, the ink is the same quick-dry no-smudge kind as the beloved jet stream, and it even has a pencil! It's not the cheap old fashioned regular ballpoint multi-color pen of yesteryear that kids would get in their Christmas stocking (those gargantuan "toy" like pens with ink that skipped and that wouldn't reliably write.) Love the uni multi so much I bought this in both yellow and purple. Great to have just one pen in my bag for regular uses *and* special needs like color-coded labeling for varied priority and needs; for creative whimsy; and for times when pencil's erasable factor is needed. Adding to this, the outside of the pen comes in such an attractive menu of colors, and the design is so sleek and stylish. As it is truly many pens in one, the cost reflected at $10-$12, but it contains so much joy for the money. I kind of what to buy it in elegant black too (and let the fancy color inside fly under the radar), also green, because a gorgeous shade. Getting back to Christmas, I actually would buy this as a small gift or stocking stuffer, but because it's so darned SPECIAL, and I kind of feel like everybody should have one and know the joy of a multi-pen that really really works, and is beautiful.

My Favorite Pen
This came with the 0.5 refills but this will take any SXR-80 refills (i.e. SXR-80-07 for the .7 refills, etc.). I'm a huge pen buff but I've found that uni has the best ballpoint refills in the business, very smooth consistent lines without any smear or bleeding. Great for note taking, writing in both fine point, but since they don't skip, perfectly fine for most business/office/medical settings.

Smooth writing!
I love this pen. I use it for my bullet journal and planner so I have multiple colors and a pencil without a lot of clutter. The pens are very smooth, and it's easy to switch back and forth from pencil to pen. The pen is fatter than a normal pen, but it is comfortable and easy to write with with despite my arthritis in my thumb. Despite the extra girth due to having 5 writing tools in it, it is NOT heavy. The only drawback is the eraser under the cap is very small and is only good for small mistakes. However, a white cap eraser fits over the cap, and if you don't mind the added bulk at the top, then it is a good workaround. Otherwise, I recommend getting a separate eraser and keep it on hand for use with the pencil. Other than that, I love the pen, and I would recommend it to anyone who like a fine, smooth line. I would definitely purchase this again.

I had to get a 2nd
I tried this one as I was struggling to find a pen thick enough for my grip. I loved it so much that I bought a 2nd and I'm about ready to throw away any other pen I got lying around and never use any more. The line it makes is so thin and smooth, that I really can't give enough praise to this pen. I use it daily and often.

Sleek and Intuitive Design
UPDATE: I have now been writing with this pen for about 3 months. My blue ink just ran out and I just ordered refills. I was disappointed with the options for refills and found them to be expensive. I still love this pen, however and it is the only one I use. Another downfall I have noticed is that the eraser ran out quickly and it is quite heavy if you're going to be writing at length. I also ordered the 0.7mm refills because I found the 0.5mm to be just a little fine for my taste. Still my favorite pen :-)I have been writing with this pen for about a week now, and so far, it gets a "thumbs up". Its design is sleek and intuitive, and has many features making it purchase-worthy.The Design:Although the barrel is plastic, it does not have the feel of a cheap pen; it feels solid and has a comfortable grip. While added width is slightly bulky, I quite prefer it over slimmer pens. What surprised me is the weight. I'm not sure if it's the metal tip on the barrel combined with the metal tips of the cartridges, but it is heavier than I had imagined. Fortunately, the added weight on the tip paired with the smooth ink almost aids in the writing process and I can't as of yet deem it as a fault. The Function:THE INK- While the ink is smooth, it does write lightly for the first few centimeters on the initial stroke before the full strength kicks in. I have not, however, noticed any skipping and I am quite impressed with how smooth it is. It almost feels like writing with gel ink, but it doesn't smudge even when tested immediately. I wish I had paid closer attention to the line weight. It is very fine... great if that's what you're in the market for.THE PENCIL- I love the pencil. It is easy to extract, the eraser works as expected and is hidden under a cap.In Summary- Very FINE- Heavier than expected (but might aid in writing)- Colors are vivid (but slightly transparent at first)- Pencil has an eraser- Design is sleek, intuitive, and durableIf these things are what you are looking for, then I would highly recommend it! :-)

perfect for healthcare profession
I had to compare so many different pens before finally landing on this one. I wanted one with black, green, red, and blue ink for sure. It's an added bonus it has a pencil. Yes, it is kind of bulky, but it doesn't bother me too much and I have pretty small hands. The ink is good too! So far, so smooth. I have no complaints about it. It is very durable and I have been using it for a couple weeks now.

My go to writing utensil!!!
I've always loved the way the Jetstream pens write and when I found out that this product existed my husband and I decided that we MUST have them!!! We've purchased these several times this year and I still haven't ran out of ink on any cartridge yet. They're perfect to take notes with when you need to make sure that something stands out you can just easily switch the color ink! Wonderful product and I highly recommend!!!!!
