I was supriosed how well they work.
I was surprised how well these worked. I've just started making frames for my wife's sewing. A large frame (2ft x 3ft) needed more support on the mitered corners, so I thought I'd try these. While glueing up, after I'd nailed these in, the two edges of the frame I was working on fell off my bench, but the joint held together! So I just had to write up a good review for these folks.

Exactly what I needed
A customer asked me to build a large frame, because it was so large I was worried about keeping it together with just glue and pin nails. I couldn't justify an air nailer for one frame, so I thought I would give these a shot. They worked flawlessly in 1/2" thick poplar. I would not hesitate to buy them again. One tip I would give is to use light taps with a small hammer. If you try to hammer them in to hard/fast they may not drive straight and could mess things up.Worth every Penny!

FRAMED
Exceptional! Purchased this specifically for the pneumatic v-nailer that required this specific type of v-nail, but the nailer was too cheaply manufactured and would only fire two v-nails at once, which jams the gun overtime. I did find a manual LOGAN v-nailer on eBay, though; this only installs one v-nail at a time, but these v-nails are perfect for frame making. The only problem is delivery; the hinge-top plastic container was not bound, so all the v-nails were set free laying inside the plastic bag. The special paper, to inhibit corrosion, was useless. Took a while to gather all these thin v-nails together and place 'em back in the container.

A handy little device with multiple uses
I had looked up ordering a custom vent cover for my furnace's return air duct. The cost was more than $300. So I decided to build my own. I found a vintage looking screen and tracked down some wood for the frame. I mocked up what would be a perfect cover. However, my wood framing turned out to be quite thin. I used the FramePac V nails in the corners like a frame maker. They worked seamlessly. And I look like a craftsman.
