I'm old fashioned in that I do NOT like to compromise my password on the web via phone or computer. I use the old fashioned Palm Tungsten e2. I basically only use it for contacts (backup to my phone) and memos where I keep my passwords. Because of the sheer number that I have to remember, this method keeps them readily at my disposal. I needed a travel cable to charge and sync to an old computer that is also NOT on the web. This works perfect. Thank you.

Works like the original

I lost my cable and needed a replacement urgently. Luckily, I received this high-quality cable the very next day.

Cable works and can connect to the Palm via hotsync. Since there isn't a pin release on the port connector you'll need to yank fairly hard to release the connector. This may become problematic over time with the amount of force needed to disengage the connection and release the adapter from the device. Overall the adapter works as expected.

I have a Palm TE2 that I use heavily. Well it's 15+ years old and battery won't hold a charge very long. So am using this to power it with a battery pack. Yeah kinda cumbersome, but prefer this over other options.

I purchased because I thought I lost the original. Then I found the original but I can't remember where I put this one! The one thing I liked about it is there is a full PDA connector on the end that goes into the PDA. The original only has one little connector going into one small slot.

Make sure it's firmly plugged into the unit. Almost feels like you're going to break it but push and you'll hear it click into place.

Many people reviews rated this cable as sketchy for charging their Palm TX. I found it great for charging, and the convenience of only one cable! I plugged it into the docking cradle I have for my TX and the USB end into a charging port on a power-bar. It brings my TX up to full capacity from less than a quarter charge remaining in about 3 hours, possibly sooner as I don’t stand and watch the time. I am glad I bought this 2-in-1 cable as it does what it says and made my life a little easier.
