GAIL's Lemon Drizzle Loaf Cake, 500g

It was delicious.

It's a very tiny loaf but taste and texture all good. My own lemon drizzle cake is better but sometimes I just can't be bothered to make, just wish they made a full size loaf cake. There needs to be something done about the ridiculous packaging, the icing sometimes gets stuck to the top of the cake box, which wrecks the entire surface of the cake making it denuded of icing and totally unpresentable. Somebody needs to fix this small cake rattling around in big box business with no supports in the box.

if there’s zero star i would rated that! It came loose in a cardboard box, STALE!!! it’s not suppose to be like this as I’m a regular Gail’s customer and I ordered this lemon loaf on Ocado very often as well. This bad quality doesn’t deserve to be sold to anyone and it costs almost £8!!!

Cake was really dry when we got it

It's ok; better than the Morrisons alternative on here. Was a bit dry, and size smaller than expected.

Massively over-packaged. The cake came loose in an over-sized cardboard box with nothing to stop it bouncing around inside the box and no indication that the box should be kept upright. The cake itself was nothing very special and rather dry.

Arrived stale

Went passed its use by date the day it was delivered. How nice.
