Great for dyed red hair
I have dyed red hair which is hard to maintain...not anymore!! After using this colour restore (along with mixing it with the bright red colour restore ), it makes my hair colour a really nice deep red/purple colour. I love it, would definitely recommend.

Very slight colour
Scott Cornwall Colour Restore Black Cherry 100ml.I was excited to try this product but unfortunately I was left disappointed. The product itself was very nice to work with. In fact the easiest hair dye I've ever used.No messing around, you simply put on the gloves and rub the dye through freshly washed and towel dried hair. Not forgetting the patch test that you should do 48hrs before. The dye is left on for 20 minutes and then you simply rinse off with warm water afterwards. The colour of my hair looked fabulous while the dye was on but once I rinsed if off, I struggled to see any remainder of colour. My scalp however has been tinted. Not sure of the price as this product is currently unavailable but whether cheapnor expensive, I wouldn't use again.

Purple Haze
I've been wanting to play around with colour on my hair for a while and purple is such a fabulous colour. I admit I was a bit nervous of using such a different shade from my natural blonde, so when this temporary hair colour came up I jumped at the chance to try it out.I did the required patch test beforehand and, as I didn't react to it, I was ready to try it out. It's very simple to use. Unlike the 'normal' home colour kits I've used, this one comes in a ready to use, multi-use tube, there's no mixing or developing required. Simply wash your hair, apply and comb through your hair whilst wearing the disposable gloves provided and leave for 20 minutes. Then rinse off with warm water until the water runs clear.I must admit that I was expecting a much darker purple after having looked at the colour guide on the side of the box. My hair looks more as if it had a light purple 'rinse' rather than the deep purple I was expecting. My hair feels beautifully soft and conditioned. Next time I wash my hair I'll try a second application in the hope of a darker shade. I've managed to wash the 'disposable' gloves so that I can use them next time.

Stained hair and won't wash out
I put this on my step daughters hair being a wash out colour i thought it would be ok but its stained her hair and won't come off, I've had to order colour remover. It did give a nice colour to her hair but we did not want it permanently in.

Keeps my hair vibrant
I love how well this brings out and improves the red/violet colour in my hair. The first time I used about a third of the tube and left it on my washed and towel dried hair for about 20 minutes, now I shall use a little as conditioner to keep the vibrancy and shine. My hair feels nice and soft and shines well. I like that there is no ammonia and it is cruelty free. Really impressed.

Great as a colour top up and conditions hair
This is good as a colour top-up and, importantly, it conditions my dry hair well. I like that it is flexible enough to be used as a temporary dye and as a quick top-up conditioner, and it seems to add shine. I'd use this again.

okay
This is okay - I pre-lighten my hair and had already dyed it purple with a different brand dye however as I swim 5 times a week and dont wear a swim cap my hair dye fades super fast.Applying this on top of my pre-dyed hair it brought the colour back in and made it a brighter purple and it also helped to hide the regrowth at the roots.I also tried this on the 7 year olds pony tail - she has dark blonde hair - the colour did take but it was not very vibrant and it washed out quickly.I wouldnt recommend this - you can pick up plenty of decent quality colourful vibrant dyes for £5 or so which work better than this one
