How can I register the chainsaw with Stihl? - is it guaranteed? If so by whom?

The one I bought from amazon was advertised as 16'' but what arrived was 12'' and amazon basically said tough and not cover so don't have warranty???

how easy is it to start

It starts well from cold but once warmed you only have to look at it to re-start it ! A treat to use .
