Work well for my 99 Dakota 4x4. Chrysler 8.25. Only unforeseen mod I had to do was grind the end of my axles down slightly. Couldn’t slide the main pin through the carrier after I installed this one instead the stock carrier. Stock carrier had taken a crap after previous owner had not put oil in in. Spider gears gone, clutches worn. Had to take off maybe 2mm on each of them. The. The pin could slide through. I’ve been running this one for about two months now. It does click and pop some when turning sharp in parking lots, stuff like that. But I don’t hear anything out of it when driving. Seems to hook up well, my truck drives the winter roads like a tank. Looking forward to some off roading. I’ll let you know if it doesn’t hold up.

Perfect for the Chrysler 8.25
I like it. I won't tell you how easy it was to install because it wasn't. I'm not going to give you a false sense of hope that this just slaps in. If you don't know how to regear then take it to a pro that does. With that said... I like it. I don't feel it engaging and disengaging. On my tru-trac when it's free spooling it feels almost like I'm driving on cobble stone road. This lsd is super quiet and so far has been working great. I'm on 35in boggers. I plan on abusing this lsd. We will see how it holds up.

it fits and works great for my jeep liberty
everything is as it should be and it has little play as with a new car. Love it.

High gears may need some customization! (4.56)
1997 jeep Cherokee. Was pretty difficult to get onto the ring and also be very cautious when getting higher gears with this. I put this on with 4.56s and the pin for the center would not come out because of the gear being in the way. I had to shave a slot to make it squeeze past. Nothing that can’t be fixed but not a perfect fit. Other than that, both my tires are spinning and installation was a success

Wrong assembly!
It's a good differential case for a 1965 Mustang 8" rear end, too bad that mechanic had to open it to check why, after installing on vehicle, he could hear a rattling noise and car just couldn't steer. After opening, he found out inner gears and clutches were incorrectly placed!!!Thank goodness he was able to fix it, otherwise I would have had to return it as faulty item

No Traction
I haven't noticed a significant difference in traction with these on, it mostly acts like a normal open diff. It's only ever activated once while I as going uphill and I didn't even really need the traction then which was weird. If you're going to need traction for offroading I would recommend a selectable locker instead.
