Suunto Traverse GPS Watch

Suunto Traverse Alpha is really a great GPS Outdoor Smart Watch, no doubt about it. Only I wish it could have apart from Bluetooth a WIfi connectivity also. The deliver and packaging was bang on. Want to mention a strange thing happened it amazon fault or seller fault I don't know. Suunto Traverse Alpha (Stealth) was having a price tag of Rs/-33149 on 3rd January 2019< i went in for ordering and during order it suddenly showing Rs/- 35699, I was amazed that within seconds why the price has gone up but any way went in for purchase and ordering with me credit card. I got my delivery yesterday evening ie. 5th January 2019 but since there was no invoice inside the package, I thought of downloading the invoice from amazon.in and during that again check the price, it was now showing Rs/- 33149. So, it is quite ridiculous and criminal.............

Superbbb piece of technology!!! Loving it. All functions working great, GPS and GLONASS locking for without any difficulties. Battery life is great. If not using gps it'll last 25-30 days!!Though you have to do a bit research to understand complete functioning. I'll be uploading a video on YT explaining novice guide for first usage of watch. Superb Watch all feature in one piece of technology. I had got this watch on 12th February 2017. I had charged battery 100% on 12th February after 35 day the battery 7% only normal used not any other functions used.After all the battery capacity is excellent.

It's nice but It's a bit slow, and i though that it's a digital watch but i can't connect with my phone.

Excellent & Accurate

Had been eyeing this watch for a long time. Got it during the amazon sale.Let me layout my review in terms of pros and consPros1. Looks: The watch looks fabulous. The photos really don't do justice to this. Very well designed2. Menu option: The menu option though a little cumbersome in the beginning, is actually pretty intuitive once you get used to it.3. GPS: The watch gets locked into the GPS pretty easily. But beware, you may not get a lock inside a concrete building.4. Outdoor Features: The watch has decent outdoor features, though not as extensive as the Amibt 3 but good enough for an occasional hikerCons1. Battery life: For an outdoor watch, battery life is pathetic. It doesn't last even 6 hours with GPS on.2. Smart features: For a watch targeted at weekend hikers and everyday use. Suunto should really focus on the smart features. The notification features are really rudimentary and is one area that suunto should perhaps really into, if they are serious about retaining their target audience.3. Movescount App: The movescount app is one of the weakest features of suunto. Another area that they should put their focus. The only purpose of the app is to connect to the watch. The layout and design should really be looked into.Final thoughts: It is a good looking watching but seems a little confused with respect to its target. Hope suunto comes out with an update to smooth things.
