The Green Pet Shop Bamboo Dog Bowl, Large, Orange

This bowl is large but lightweight. The orange color is just what I was expecting. It washes out easily and looks great. The only problem is that without rubber on the bottom, it does slip a little while she is eating. Overall, I am very happy with this product and I would recommend it as a large dog food bowl.

While the colors are fun, they are not as shown on the site. The green is a bright emerald green and the orange is perfect for halloween the brown is a grey sort of brown and works well at thanksgiving. Dogs seemed to like eating out of these bowls. Only real draw back is they DO break if dropped!! My dogs did not chew them which is way better than how they treat plastic bowls. Also these bowls slip around if the dog is eating on a smooth vinyl or tile floor, better on a rug or mat.

These bowls are terrific. They are light weight and clean up very easily. I did not expect them to be as nice as they are, as they are much better in person than in the photo.

The first bowl I received was already broken, I assumed that was amazons fault because sometimes they can be careless with packages and it was replaced. But less than a month after buying this bowl, I put my finger through it. I wasn’t even being terrible aggressive with it; I just picked it up off the floor to fill it and it snapped like plastic that had been left too long in the sun. (And no, I feed exclusively indoors) This product is not sturdy at all. Otherwise we enjoyed the size and the fact that it was pretty easy to clean. It’s just a shame that we got less than a months use out of it.

We have used other bamboo bowls for our pups and thought it was time to replace them. First feeding was Sunday evening, made it Monday morning and Monday evening our first bowl has and egg size hole in it! The internal feeding area well as egg shell thin and shattered while stirring the food. We wrote the names on the bowls with permanent marker, so not even going to try and return them, but not fit to even donate to a local shelter.

My Shih- tzu pups have chew up every pet bowl I buy them. I ran across two of these bowls in a close out sale at another store about two years ago. The bowls still look almost new. After searching I purchased another on Amazon. I sometimes warm their food on low in the micro and these bowls work great. Try one

Wanted to love this bowl because the color is so fun and its made of bamboo. Unfortunately I can only give it three stars because it has started to form small 1/4" to 1/2" "bubbles" on the bottom. I'm thinking this is because I primarily use it as a water bowl and it is filled with water all the time. Not sure if the bamboo allows for absorption of the water or what. The bowl is still functioning, but if you look closely you can see the distortion of these bubbles. In addition, I have noticed a tendency for mold to grow on the underside. Water does seem to "sweat" through the bowl. Now I regularly clean this bowl with soap and water to prevent mold buildup. I have to mention that I have a smaller size I use for dog food, and this bowl is holding up well. So probably this bowl is not a good option for water.

My lab refused to eat out of his shiny metal bowl but he loves this one! Who would have thought! lol :)

Great product

It is very, very green, LOL. Not a soft, ferny green, but bright green. That said, my dog doesn't care and it's her favourite shape to eat from. Only thing that would make it 5 stars is if it had little rubber feet to keep it from skidding around while on the floor.

Good quality. Would buy again.

One of the bowls started to peel and crack on the inside after 6 months of use as a water bowl and is now leaking water.
