Buzan's techniques are great because they force you to ACTIVELY engage with the material. The human brain doesn't remember lists very well, unfortunately! Buzan's approach is extremely useful because it allows you to change the stuff you need to learn into a format that the brain actually remembers and understands. Knowing about techniques like this is a valuable component that will help kids to do well at school.

Great book! I bought it as a gift for my 11year old grandson and saw that it recommends learning to juggle, to increase brain function, so I also bought him different coloured juggling balls (3 different colours are important according to the book) which came with an instruction DVD, from Amazon. We had fun with it when he was here, but not sure if he has continued now he is back at school.
