Good coverage exterior paint
Wide range of colours, this paint has great coverage and is easy to apply. Our lodge only needed one coat. We tried out a large test area and were very impressed, so we are now doing the rest of the exterior walls. Very good coverage and it has really smatened it up, looking good. A little goes a long way, we did not need the second pot. The telling point will be how it weathers over winter. So far, so good. We bought the satin paint in taupe and also sage green for the side not so visible against the hedge.

An amazing product
Absolutely amazing, this paint is great and effortless. All I did was sugar soap my door and then applied the paint to my old dark green pvc door and the results speak for themselves.Don't buy a new door just invest in this paint and choose your colour and away you go. Visitors think its a new door and are so shocked when I say its the old green door. The finish is 10/10. This took around 4 coats to get the flawless finish i required and I used just over 2 tins, it dries so quick so the job was completed in an afternoon. This paint will most definitely stand up to the bad weather but I will be sealing it with some clear gloss varnish as I want to protect the flawless paint and so it can be cleaned by the window cleaner without worry and hopefully for many years. When you apply the first coat your thinking what have I done but trust the process and keep on with the coats until you're satisfied with the finish.

Definitely recommend
Quick and easy to get the job done! No need for primer and easy to apply. The colour is gorgeous for that country cottage look. Great price. Definitely recommend.

Good paint, just be realistic iabout coats required and how you interperate the colours description.
I ordered satin "off white" assuming it would be very slightly creamy in colour but it was not, it was actually very "white" more like brilliant white? howver it was not a real issue for me.Also, it is marketed and named "One Coat" but it needed a minimum of 2 coats (could have done with a third coat) as the aged oil based white (creamy) paint was still very visible after 1 coat and barely visible after 2 coats. (The previous paint was sanded and cleaned appropriately prior to re-painting).NOTE: That it does state it acts as a base coat and "first" coat in one, so technically not a "one coat" paint. The paint was very easy to apply and smoothed out on a horizontal surface to a nice even finish with barely any brush strokes visible.Virtully no odour.Drying time was acceptably fast enough but in reality longer than 30 minutes.I used just under half of the 250ml tin to paint a very large 1.8m x 0.9m antique mirror frame, so happy with the coverage, which would equate to about 1 square metre of surface area, which is about as advertised.Overall i am quite happy with this paint and would use again, mindful that it needs more than one coat especially if it was to cover a dark colour.Hence one star deducted for the colour not a expected from the description, but accepted that it doee not specify clearly in what way the colour is "off " white? it certainly was not a creamy white.

A truly beautiful finish for a reasonable price .
The quality of this paint is outstanding and lives up to its just one application is all you need , it’s lovely and thick consistency makes it easy to apply . I was a little unsure if a liter would be enough but I have loads left making it the perfect size for the job it’s left a professional finish and I would definatly recommend the colour is beautiful .

Good value/Great Quality
My UPVC Front door was looking Shabby and in need of a repaint. I discovered THE ONE paints a while ago and so naturally I turned to them first. I found they offered the Dark Grey and since my front door was dark grey, I ordered one. I noticed that it looked paler when I was applying the paint, but thought it would dry darker and so carried on. Unfortunately, after 2 coats, it did not not look anything as dark as the original and most importantly I did NOT like the shade. For that reason alone I have rated this a 3 star. I did however go back to them and ordered a Dark Green Gloss and I couldn't be happier with the colour, quality, suitability and Finish which I feel would not have been possible had I not had the confidence in THE ONE and the fact that it's also such good value for money. That was the right colour for me and got a review of 5 stars.

Goes on easy
I love this paint. I know it's a bit expensive, but it goes on so easy and I barely notice any smell. It dries quick too. Nice colours.

Good paint for wooden stairs
Used this paint for the steps and the white version for the risers and surrounds, two coats. Been walking up and down on it for three months and it isn't wearing away and, more importantly, provides a sure surface to walk on - not slick, slippy or glossy. Will buy this brand again for the next job.

Joli , un peu cher pour un si petit pot.

So far so good - 48 hours in and it looks great!
I feel like I debated myself endlessly over whether or not to try this product. I wish I'd spent so much less energy on the decision - please just try it out for yourself. This paint applied very smoothly and had decent coverage over raw primed wood (I used primer because I did not want the raw wood to just soak up all the paint) and with a second coat it looks very lush and pretty. I know it says one coat for most projects but two gave me the look I wanted. I did however try it out on the back side of a clear-finished drawer and a medium-thick application in a single coat with a brush looks pretty good (see photo, the left side used a brush, the right side used a roller). I'll probably still do two for what I assume is better durability. I did follow the directions and cleaned and dried the piece first and also did a very light sand to scuff up the clear coat. I got the satin finish and really like the dull luster. The clay color is a very light, slightly warm gray. It looks great against a white and gray Yosemite quartz countertop. The final coat is just about 48 hours old, and holds up against light fingernail scratching, but if normal use leads to any chipping over time I will try to update here.

Took three coats of paint for upvc doors.
Took three coats of paint for upvc doors and frame to get from white to gray,so a 250 ml tin is too small if three coats are needed, color is nice and its a pitty i need to buy more paint.Update: it also chips of upvc so easy, you can buy alot better paint than this.Product descriptionWith THE ONE one layer is completely sufficientIf a second coat is required, leave the paint dry for two hours before applying it.
