Impedance Meter Automatic Manual Meter Component Tester Compatible with LCR45 LCR Meter Impedance Meter

I do a lot of tinkering on guitars and old speakers and you need something to tell you the impedance of a part or if a capacitor or a resistor is actually good or if it's just trash. This says it's compatible with that LCR45 but it's pretty much a clone. You just clip the parts in and most of the time it figures out what it is right away on the "auto" setting. Occasionally you need to use the manual setting but if you are bad at math like me there are lots of charts and apps out there that will do the math for you. The screen is nice and clear. I can see the numbers well without digging for my reading glasses every time. This also has a small footprint so it will have room on almost any workbench. The grabber clips it came with are a little underwhelming. They feel a bit cheap and the wires are kind of short so you have to have the part close to the meter. I ended up swapping them for some of my own leads I had lying around and I was much happier. If you just need to know if your parts are working without spending a whole paycheck this one is worth the money. It is not the most professional grade tool but for my needs it works perfectly well and I have a feeling it will do the same for most people. Accuracy for a decent price is always the goal and here that goal was met.

I auto-measures inductance, capacitance and resistance. Just turn it on (in default auto range mode) and it measures the value for you. It also has many other custom settings.

It is very convenient to use. You don't need to measure with a passive tester or use a signal generator to determine the electrical characteristics other than direct current. The results are easy to read. There are no menu options, so it is almost error-free.
