Awesome
Saved me when I got my helix AND daith! It’s definitely worth your money and it’s super comfortable. I slept awesome as I was finally able to sleep on my left side.

Irritates Helix Piercings
I’ve been using it for almost a month. The cover is cute and soft, and I like that you can move around the stuffing to try to make it more comfortable. I was hopefully that the crescent shape would make it more comfortable than the square shaped piercing pillow I’ve been using, but for some reason that I can’t quite figure out, this pillow makes my helix piercings super sore. I’ve tried adjusting the fluff multiple times, putting my head higher or lower on the pillow, everything. But I always wake up with sore ears using it the correct way. If I sleep with it upside though, it’s much better and doesn’t bother my piercings as much. So I’ll keep using it that way for now or switch back to my square pillow.

love the concept of this pillow, but just didn't work well for me
This ear piercing pillow has a really cute black and gold sun and moon design. The shape of the pillow is perfect for side sleepers; it supports my neck and my head really well. The hole is only on one side of the pillow, while the other side has a thin layer of the cover where the hole is. The cover is soft, while the pillow is pretty firm, so it doesn’t lose its shape. There is a hidden zipper (the kind you see on a formal dress) that allows you to remove the cover for washing. The pillow inside also has a zipper that allows you to add/remove filling to fit your needs. The filling is very tiny pieces of what feels like synthetic material clumped together. It’s not soft to the touch; in fact, it’s scratchy when I rub the material together in my hand. It’s definitely not cotton and it doesn’t feel anything like what cotton balls feel like. It’s not the most comfortable to sleep on. The problem is, the pillow is the perfect size the way it is (with all the filling); however, it’s pretty firm and a bit hard to sleep on. Removing the filling will make the pillow softer, but it will also make it much thinner. I had trouble sleeping on this pillow because it was hot to sleep on; the cover doesn't breathe very well. It also wasn’t very soft and gave me tension headaches at night. But removing filling made it too low to sleep on. I think the problem is the filling itself. The tiny pieces all bunched together just made them too dense and hard. They also could’ve made this pillow slightly bigger and thicker to accommodate the smaller size when removing filling. I really wanted this pillow to work for me. As much as I love the concept of this pillow, unfortunately, I couldn’t use it the way it is. The quality of the filling just isn't there.

Very comfortable pillow!
I ordered this to alleviate the pressure on my Cartilage piercing. It’s a great pillow! It had good support without being hard. Very cozy. The only problem for me was I don’t sleep flat. I like multiple pillows so it was difficult for me to keep my ear in at an angle, however, my daughter tried it and loved ot. If you sleep flat I would try it.

Reasonable for short use. Can add more stuffing
My 6-year-old just got her ears pierced, we got this pillow to help her sleep through the worst of the uncomfortability. I do agree with some of the other people reviewing that there does not seem to be enough stuffing in this pillow, but as I looked at the pillow, I realized that I could unzip and add more stuffing myself. Not only this, but since my daughter's head is smaller than most adults had, I can move some of the stuffing from the side panels to the middle where she needed more support. Anyway. All that to say, yes, you might require more stuffing, but it is pretty easy to add it and polyfill is very cheap. I will also know that I've seen some distressed themes as noted by others, but we are using this for just the week or two that it will take before it starts being comfortable to lay on again. My daughter is using flat back earrings, so they are not pressing into her skull at night. For $24. I feel like it's a little bit overpriced for something that she will be using for just a few weeks, however, if you are someone who has a lot of piercings all the way up the Helix of your ear, it might be worth the investment. Just know that you might need to add a little bit of polyfill yourself.

My new favourite pillow
I love this ear piercing pillow with the ear hole. I don't have new ear piercings. My most recent one is two decades old. They are as healed as they're going to get. That said, I hate sleeping on my ears. I normally have to rig something up to take the pressure off or they go numb. But I'm a side sleeper, so that makes it tricky. This pillow, it's perfect. Once I find the right spot for the night, it's supportive and yet gentle on my pressure points. And, because it's kind of shaped funny with those little sides that come down in points, it's perfect to sort of twist down to support my upper back. This $25 pillow works, surprisingly enough, just as well for upper back support as my $80 boomerang shaped maternity pillow that I've been using. It is a little bit thin, with maybe not quite enough stuffing. That would be my only complaint. But even though it doesn't have what I would really consider enough support to be comfortable, I wake up without a headache on the nights that I use it. It's a noticeable difference, the next morning. And if I do decide it needs more stuffing, that's an option. There's a zipper in the pillow itself, to remove or add stuffing. Or, as time goes on, to replace the stuffing entirely. That's kind of brilliant. The case comes right off, for washing, and goes right back on. It's a little bit smaller than a traditional pillow, but the shape of it is smarter and it works better.

Cute design and great concept, but needs more stuffing
I’ll start with what I like. The celestial print on the black cover is really pretty, and the cover comes off easily for washing. I use a piercing pillow every night, so being easy to clean is something I always appreciate. The curved cutout shape also makes a lot of sense in theory. It seems as though your shoulder would fit inside perfectly, making your ear fall right into the open hole that’s made for it. Unfortunately the stuffing is where it falls short for me. While my head naturally sits in the correct place, it sinks into the pillow so much that unless I’m in the absolute perfect position, I still end up putting pressure on my piercings. Since that was the whole problem I was trying to solve in the first place, it kind of defeats the purpose. The odd part is once you’ve unpacked it and let it fluff up for a few days, it appears like it’d be full enough to work great. But whatever stuffing they used just has too much give, so it provides no support whatsoever, and it’s not even half as firm as it looks like it’d be. It’s a little frustrating because I can see what the pillow is trying to do, and the design itself is solid. I think it just needs more filling to be thick enough to provide any support. I plan on adding more myself to see if that fixes it, but the fact that it needs that adjustment out of the box is disappointing. It’s the most expensive piercing pillow I’ve tried, so having to purchase something extra to make it work is a deal breaker. Overall, I can’t recommend it the way it is right now, especially for the current price. There are too many out there that work a lot better and manage to do it for less money.

Well made but not enough stuffing.
I'm a side sleeper and like to listen to audiobooks to fall asleep, so I figured this would make sleeping in earbuds much more comfortable. Conceptually, this is exactly what I was looking for -- ergonomically shaped to hug the neck and shoulder, and with a hole in the center just large enough to take all pressure off your ear and distribute it evenly across your face instead. The size is perfect for this, not too big as to feel uncomfortable and suffocating on your face, but not small enough to make you feel like you're about to roll off. The outside cover is thin but soft, and feels nice on the skin. My only complaint is that there is just not nearly enough stuffing to actually make this pillow comfortable. It comes vacuum sealed, so I gave it a few days to fully fluff, and tried manually fluffing it as well, but it's still just too flat to be comfortable for overnight use. The inside pillow itself IS adjustable (the seller mentions you can remove stuffing to your liking), but I need to provide my own stuffing to give this pillow the height and firmness it needs for side sleeping. So for now, it's either stuff socks or some other material in the pillow to buff it up, or just use it for the occasional 30-minute nap until my neck begins to ache.
