You do NOT have to cut the feet off the direct plumb reservoir. )n the bottom of the coffeemaker there are two phillips head screws that need to be removed. You can then remove the cover plate over the holes where the pins go. There is also a connector on the back for the solenoid valve. You have to remove the screw on the reservoir side of the coffeemaker to access the plug. The cover is then rotated and the screw goes in from the back. I just put my plumb kit from my old K150P on my new K155. Five minute job and it works like a champ. My old K150P has been faithful for over 10 years. It has a minor problem, (most likely scale although I use RO filtered water) so I will fix it and use it for when we have guests and need more capacity faster. These are GREAT coffeemakers and well worth the price.

This model does not suffer from digital rights management and will process both clone and actual K cups.

Q: what is the difference between the 150 and 155?

The pods are specifically made to brew 6 oz of coffee. Those who like it strong, brew 4 oz and those who like it weaker use the 8-10oz. If you like hot water with a hint of coffee, then you might miss the 12 oz setting.
