cosy nostalgia 😊
It seems for the last decade or so everywhere only seems to sell led christmas lights. I personally find them too bright so have always gone for warm white as they are the least cold and in your face. I really missed having a colourful tree though so tried tracking down some 'old style' lights, which is when I came across these. These lights are amazing, just like the ones from my childhood in the 90s. They give off a lovely warm cosy glow without lighting up the room. They feel so much more Christmassy than the modern led lights. Super happy with them.

Don’t waste your money
Where do I start? These lights arrived 2 weeks late with a 48hr express delivery label on. Amazon told me I was entitled to a refund and judging by the label the seller only posted them when I requested said refund. On arrival I tested the lights worked before putting them on the tree (which had already been up 2 weeks) and they lit up and looked lovely. I draped them around the tree and they looked beautiful however within 5 minutes they’d gone off. I tried replacing the fuse bulb to no avail. So off I went unwinding them from the tree before they’d been on 10 minutes. I proceeded to check the bulbs to find the offender but after checking just 3 bulbs the spare I was using fell apart in my hand. I then decided to go through the 200 bulbs pushing them to make sure they were in properly (they were). At this point dinner was ready so I placed them on the floor to come back to after I’d eaten. Upon returning to the room I noticed they’d magically started working again. With hope in my heart I placed them back on the tree but again after around 20 minutes they weren’t working again. They’ve since proceeded to turn themselves on and off when ever they feel like it and I’ve given up on trying to fix them. They haven’t worked at all for around a week now. Don’t waste your money on these, mine will be going in the bin once I take the tree down.

Vintage Christmas
I'm sure led lights are cheaper and better for the environment, but I hate them. They give me migraines and the colours are cold. These lights are warm and I've used them for 2 Christmases so far. They are great quality and very affordable compared to others I've seen.

Traditional, nostalgic rainbow christmas lights :)
I can confirm, for those of you wondering as I was, that these lovely traditional lights DO have all the following colours - red, dark yellow, green, blue AND pink! I wanted traditional lights as they create a warm, cosy glow whereas new-type LED lights are super bright but still create a cold blue aura and never have all the rainbow colours (don't understand why not, as I have previously bought multi-coloured and separate pink and purple and orange LEDs, why can't they be made with all the colours in one set??!) These traditional lights are a little dark, the actual glow from each bulb is not overly bright but with 200 (or 400 on my tree) the warm rainbow effect is gorgeous. Time will tell how long they last. I will update some time to let you know. Please never stop making these lights-of-my-childhood!! :)UPDATE: These lights are working so far BUT I have since read more recent reviews which say that their lights died after 1 or a few days, after reading this, I was too suspicious to put them on my tree this year in case they die! So I have hung them around the childrens' bedrooms instead. ALSO these lights are pretty but very dull, only a tiny glow emitting from each bulb, look half as bright as my older sets, shame, I shall further update later in the season to let you know if my sets still work.

Good but unreliable
I use seven of these strings on my Christmas tree, I have had them for a few years now. As mentioned by other reviewers, occasionally a string fails. Sometimes it’s due to the fuse (it’s a good idea to make a note of where the fuse is somehow, or to take a picture of it), sometimes it’s because the whole string is gone. The lights are quite dim, so you will need more than you might think. Overall, they are good because of the nostalgic feeling, despite their unreliability.

Nostalgia in a box
Ignore poor reviews these lights are the true 80s vibe we had as kids. My kids and even my wife prefer these now to the harsh led ones and for the 5th year in a row ou tree is covered in colour lights. Every year I get another box to add for around the house decorations.

Stop working after a while!!
Wanted to go for the retro Christmas theme and these looked like the good old fashioned Xmas lights from my childhood, the reviews were mixed but thought I’d give them a go and see for myself, they looked amazing and gave that real retro Christmas look to my tree, worked amazing for a week or so and then suddenly stopped working, tried everything from changing the bulbs and changing the fuse in the plug and nothing worked, the reviews were right and these lights only work for a little while before they decide to give up, good job I had another set of lights of my Xmas tree for it to still light up, be sure to read to reviews and take note before purchasing these!

Great nostalgic feeling for low price
Wanted some 'old fashioned' multi-colour lights to add to our tree this year, these work a treat.Added them alongside some warm white lights to our 7ft tree and they're perfect.Slightly fiddly to put onto the tree as due to the design of them (both ends of the lights feed into the mains socket) they get very knotted. Also note that the lights DON'T have a button to change the sequence, they are just ON.
