Covert Wireless Trail Camera Code Black AT&T/Blackhawk Verizon

Would probably go with a diff camera next time. I bought a reconyx last year, and have had zero problems. I bought 3 of these and first one worked fine then just stopped sending pics. Tech support is only there from 8-5 so if you work during the day, as I do, then you have to call during this time. No on line help available either, really frustrating.

I really love this camera. I own several none cell cameras, but this one is now my favorites. Not only does it take great quality pictures, but it also gives me the ability to know whats on the camera without having to run and check it like the rest of mine. I also plan to use it to make sure my hunting area is clear before I start into my stand in the winter.Pros:Good image qualityTons of settings (that can be managed remotely)Verizon networkBuilt in screen makes checking pictures and trigger on sight easy.Simple to use once setupReasonable data plans.Phone and web AppConsCan be a bit difficult to get setup (I'm much more technically inclined than some most)Initial cost. ( The extra money for the modem in the camera is definitely going to hold most people back)Some hidden fees for HQ picture request and other things.

Tried to get a cell card from at&t to get it working come to find out I have to use a credit card and purchase a monthly purchase thru them .I have 3 others that work fine but for some reason they just want to screw everything up so I will never buy another one as long as I live if they don't Fix that problem I can go to AT&T get a phone card and do it for 10 dollars a month and thru covert black it is almost 25 dollars a month wtf

After multiple calls to Covert customer service I finally gave up on this very expensive scouting camera. I would call customer service, who would occasionally answer and sometime not, and get everything set up. By time I drove back home from the farm it would tell me my SD card was full and would not transmit a single picture. I purchased 4 different brand new SD cards because they kept telling me the card was corrupt. No help.I finally got so frustrated I told them I wanted to return the camera. They gave me a Return Authorization number and then Tom in customer service refused to give me my money back. They said they would only repair the item even though I had a Return Authorization number.

Camera is 350 miles from my house and 150 miles from the closest major city and works nearly flawlessly. You need rechargeable batteries and the solar panel unless you live close enough to change them every 6 weeks or so. The only complaint I have is, it's too sensitive. On the least sensitive setting I get lots of false triggers if the wind is blowing.

This camera works really good paired with the larger external battery and solar panel. I havent done anything with it for over 6 weeks. Over 600 pictures taken in that time. I can take a real time picture any time. There are a few features that I will need to figure out but it does seem to work well. If the sun is directly on it you will get false pictures. Its only happened a few times a day when that happens. I used this to watch over our property and it really does give us piece of mind. Might look at getting a second one to watch over our residential property. You can also set the camera to only take the amount of pictures per day you want. That will stop from using up the data plan selected. The only suggestion would be a little higher quality pictures. Its still not bad as they are now.

We use this in our driveway, it works great. We were robbed and now we get a photo text to us of any car that pulls up! Have one for deer also.

If it did everything like it was suppose to I would give it 5 star. It takes pics and sends them to you sometimes, I literally drove a full size truck by it and no pic was sent to me. I call the company and they told me I have to set it on 30 seconds to give it time to process the picture. ( then why even let me set it to .5 seconds) this camera is made in China says right on it when you get it. I have had nothing but issues with it. The company has it right now for the second time. The billing is never right and they deactivated my camera, even though I had 5k in the account. Billing is still not right camera doesn't do what they advertised it to do. Get something different, don't make my mistake.The pic is my buddy messing with me took him walking by camera 8 times for it to send me a pic on my phone.
